The missed technical when Mo threw the ball at Dwight was pretty damn important after all. As a consolation prize, the NBA will announce tomorrow that it has added a technical foul onto Williams' record for suspension purposes (since you miss a game after x technicals). That really helps a lot, thanks NBA.

You could stick Odom on Melo (Odom is strong, large, and quick... so Carmelo couldn't easily shoot over him, overpower him, or get by him), Kobe (or Ariza) could stick Billups. Then their guys like Nene, Anderson can be guarded by Gasol/Bynum and stick the other (Ariza or Kobe) on another Denver small. That's a good strategy IMO. IF Denver goes small, then obviously they change it. But IMO going big might be a very good idea against Denver. Carmelo was abusing Odom when they had him on him. I think Kobe might be the better choice, but I think Cyric is right about his energy level.

As I was watching the game, I started to root for Orlando just because of the calls (and non-calls) that went in favor of the Cavs. I almost had a heart attack when they called traveling on Lebron though. I thought the world was going to end. I think Cleveland can get by with the mismatch on the defensive end (even though they're playing shitty defense) because Cleveland is generally the better team if Orlando only gets 2/3 of their stars going off, but the Cavs won't make it if their offense continues to be so mindbogglingly bad in the 2nd half.

He could end up bein the best player in the history of basketball by the time his career is over. Props to Hedo on the nice pull up but really Van Gundy should've had Pietrus guarding Lebron, he's stronger and more athletic than Turkoglu.

He wasn't set. It was a good call. There were some awful calls on both sides of the court, but that wasn't one of them.

Where do strength and athleticism come into play when defending a fall away 25 footer? He would've made that shot over everyone but D12.

I'll tell you what was great. After the ref signaled travel, the Cleveland fans started cheering like crazy for a good 6-7 seconds. They are so used to getting the superstar calls that a walk never entered their minds. I think I can handle this loss though. Fourth buzzer beater against us in these playoffs alone, and this is barely a blip on the radar of magic mishaps over the years.

That was fairly cold blooded. I can't even make a comeback because I kinda like the pistons. For my money, the 88-90 piston team is the greatest in NBA history.

I was in love with Penny and Shaq, so we're even. <3 If only they coulda gotten Nick Nolte as their coach, then they would've crushed the Rockets.
