No, quite the opposite. Don't "poor guy" him. You have to assume that he is fully aware of the scene and situation he is in and used this knowledge to his advantage to get sponsorship from FD. FD obviously was too naive or stupid to realize this and was not able to comprehend his skill level (or lack thereof). The only thing he can really offer is being in Korea. That's it. He does not have the skill, attitude, knowledge, contacts etc. to make any significant impact. Abusing ICC does not really help either. Regarding SC2, you have to assume that the whole gaming environment will be similar to the current starcraft environment and therefore the result will be the same - failure. FD should immediately cancel the contract, try to contain the reputation damages, reiterate what exactly their objectives are and do more research based on the objectives to act upon. This whole ordeal does not make any sense at all. | ||

As I understand it, they will pay him some relatively cheap money to search for SC (or rather SC2) talents. Personally I believe he might fail. But on the other hand - you bash the guy; he fucking sucks at starcraft, but he is smart enough to abuse his way to D+! Maybe he will be able to abuse some idiotic 12 year old kroean to join "frag dominant". I think that's their plan Of course they also think that someone who never achieved anything (LOL D+ rank) can become great quickly. I dont think he can even get the B rank... and progamers are above A rank easily.. | ||
