What I posted:
I went to Korea in 2006 out of free will and out of my expense. I played in two courage events which requires you to fight you were out of multiple group phase trials when I was there, as of now its a consistent amount of 1v1 matches until everyone is eliminated and its a bo1 series. Im a B/B+ Zerg 1v1 player, and I hardly get to play today since Im married and have a baby girl now, but I didnt have what it took to do it. It requires you dedicate a minimum of 12 hours (preferably 16 hours) of a day playing and going over replays of those games you lost and notating what you did wrong, what could have been done differently, and what can be done for future reference. You're on a strict schedule even for physical endurance working out on a daily basis. The team travels together to all events, eats, sleeps, plays together. And honestly from never hearing of this person he wont accommodate to those factors for one. I have played Starcraft for 9 years now, I have seen this scene fall and rise, and to be honest, I have never heard of this player anywhere, not as a promoter, team supporter, and certainly not a player. If you as a company paid for him to compete, sad to say you have wasted your money, effort but most of all time on an individual who doesnt have the skills to compete. Warcraft 3 and Starcraft are two entirely different RTS titles. Both require different level of knowledge, and skill. Warcraft 3 was made for players who truly didnt have what Starcraft required, and there again, Warcraft 3 was a failed title until DOTA came out. So honestly Im sorry. Please dont disregard what other individuals say about this situation. There is going to be alot of anger and upset individuals because they know what it takes to get there as a pro, and when they see a player who has knows nothing and has absolutely none of the required skills to make it as a pro, let alone win a Courage tournament to receive your pro license, they will say alot spiteful words and harsh sentences.

"Vice President" Jon has made a lengthy answer on the thread concerning this on FD forums, worth a read.
http://www.fragdominant.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=4464
He isn't a proper person to "scout" for skilled players though when he is bad as hell himself and is showing to be an idiot by abusing iCCup in the most idiotic manner ever, besides why would a skilled korean join FD instead of becoming a practice partner for a KeSPa licensed pro-team?
I guess blaming FD for it is not the right thing to do though, they just didn't have the information they needed.

So, basically, ToaD next bonjwa?

Frag Dominant is a total joke, regardless of the game. Hanzo, FD's owner, is an outsider to esports and a pretty clueless one at that. He thinks ANY attention is good, so he picks up anyone who will get talked about, regardless of talent, skill and results.
IE: They have a female CS team made of 5 pub players who could never get out of CALopen (lowest tier of competition in American CS)

wannabe multi-gaming teams with clueless owners who just want to make money and have NO IDEA about e-sports at all are the worst. i really really hate them

This is a lack of professionalism and entirely their fault if they did not gather information. No business would simply make a decision out of gut feeling without proper research.

OMG! Reading the reply of their management shows that they have no idea whatsoever what they are doing. They expect ToaD to be a scout and build a team around him?? Well, his chances of succeeding are basically ZERO, I mean there are clan houses that are run like pro-team, if those aren't becoming pro-teams what chances do ToaD has?.
They also expect him to appear in offline events. WTF? Do they think that anyone can enter OSL or MSL?
This entire turn of events can only be described as a disaster. Clearly the one in charge at FD has no idea how big starcraft is in Korea. If they want to sponsor a player to Korea there are many better choices out there.
RIP FD "pro" Starcraft team.
