Maybe he has a chance! :D
And almost all of his wins against terrible players!

I really dislike that guy's attitude.
Announcing to TL after not being active for 5 years that he will become a progamer, that's just plain ignorant and annoying.

I'd like to hear from his side, honestly.

God, despite what the guy said about getting B in a few days, give him a couple weeks before making accusations about his skill level. HE HASNT PLAYED FOR 5 YEARS, stop making such a big deal about this -_-.

Actually it's more like 2 years. As I recall, someone found his old WGtour id and the last games played were in 2006.

Hilarious replays. For a wannabe B+ players his macro is quite awful. But i like his agressive oldschool style.

Well, it's cause he's been talking big without even knowing how much the game as evolved.
But yeah, I still wanna see how he does. It's an interesting experiment to say the least.

I think he was really overconfident and talked a lot of shit he should have without at least learning more about how the game has evolved over the years.
But, i find really annoying how some people keep saying "omg noob, you couldnt make it to B in a week after not playing for years, you are such a loser."
The guy acted really inmature and got owned by reality because of that, but just because someone acts like an idiot it doesnt mean you should do the same.

i think if you had said "omg noob, you couldnt make it to B in a week after not playing for years, you are such a loser." then you'd have been more accurate. nobodys been flipping out on him that i've seen.
i think most of us, for me certainly, are just following his account out of curiosity. i'm not rabidly hoping he fails, i'm pretty neutral either way. it's just fun to see some caveman come out of hibernation and observe how he does in the modern game.

first ppl said 4 years, now ur exaggerating. 5 years my ass. his last game during pgtour was in 2006. it's been like 2 years and like several months. almost 3 years.

Also, when I checked his games a day or two ago, a large portion of his recent PvZ games that he won ended within 5:00 minutes, which probably means that he's unable or too afraid to get into long games because he probably doesn't know how to pull off the modern FE Protoss builds, and he probably gets grossly outmacroed as the game progresses. I wonder if he 2 gates, and his opponents don't know how to deal with it. Most zergs face FE, which means that they don't get very much practice against 2 gates. Yeah, because of the standardization of the Protoss FE vs. Zerg, Zerg players have started to opt for poolfirst (mostly overpool) -> double expand builds, generally. The thing is, poolfirst builds have a really hard time against 2gate and so Saddles probably plays upon that advantage. D+ Zergs can probably beat Saddles without too much trouble if they open with 12hatch.

I give him some credit for trying at least

It's not about making accusations of his skill level. It's about him blatantly disregarding the evolution of Starcraft, and storming onto TL as if he's still hot shit, when he isn't, and actually never really was in the first place.
I'm assuming yeah, he used to be pretty good, but he decided to come back after so long, throw it everyone's face, and tell everyone on TL that the game we love and spend so much time worshipping is stale and hasn't changed. Now he's going to eat his words, and most of us will have a hell of a grand time watching him go down in flames.
The combination of him claiming to be better than he was back when he WAS good, and then telling everyone that he can be just as successful as he used to be within a "few days" is quite hilarious. ACTUALLY, he even went as far as saying the competition is LESS competitive today, I believe. Which is the adverse of the truth.
And if you still can't understand why we're making a mockery of him, then... Well you're probably a better person than I am, because I, like 99% of people, enjoy watching cocky dudes get what's coming.

Really, who the fuck cares about how this guy does? I mean sure, he made an ass of himself, but it's not really necessary to give this guy any more attention. I'm pretty sure everyone who cares already has his ICCup profile bookmarked and constantly checks it.
Sorry to be the party pooper. Really, I am. But this dude doesn't need nor deserve any attention from this community, which was demonstrated when his previous threads were closed.

Is this the same as nex-scy? If so, he was active in 2006.
