frankly that would make them an actual title contender.

Liverpool are doing well but right now doesn't count for anything, the premier league actually starts after Christmas break.

and liverpool has had two problems in their previous seasons. 1: they've sucked in the beginning, 2: they never beat the best teams so far they've had a great beginning, and they've beat united and chelsea.. chelsea has still been more impressive overall this season I think, and I still think they're the biggest favourite for the league championship, but liverpool looks strong as hell.

Bigsoccer is probably 2nd but it's mostly full of americans and doesn't have team forums.

True, it's much more American Centric but they do have full team forums; at least for the EPL and MLS(yes, some people do watch ![]() Anyway, like most Americans I used to just casually watch (World Cup/Euro Cup/Champions League) but recently I've gotten more into it from a friend. Anyone know of any good beginner books in terms of player positions/formations/tactics? Is there such a thing? Google is failing me.

On second thought... | ||

I don't dislike the msl, they are good players, but I just have no interest in it whatsoever, especially the commentators who try to announce it like an american football game, being all brute and stuff, it immediately turns me off, they don't understand football/soccer is a game of class.

Villarreal, use Jozy Altidore more or loan him plz. Altidore doesn't fit in Villarreal right now. Too young and doesn't know how to use his head yet. They have enough forwards as it is. They should loan him to competitive second division team for 1 year at least and then get him back a see what he can do.

Just like when he was in NY, he wanders around the pitch without any purpose. Like most Americans, his off the ball movement sucks major ass ![]() Still the most promising American I can think of though, with Rossi choosing Italy and all. Funny how they're on the same team.
