edit :that villareal atletico Madrid game was one of the best games i watched this season
The most popular international soccer forum is http://www.xtratime.org/forum/ . Bigsoccer is probably 2nd but it's mostly full of americans and doesn't have team forums.
Nop , altho in the front page they do post MSL , American league news they have a lot of posters from other countries if you actually visit the other team's forums and they do have an individual team forum from all over the world.
Arsenal 4-4 Tottenham This match just finished, and what a game it was. Tottenham came back from being down 4-2 in the 88th minute to tie the game in stoppage time. What an amazing comeback. Jenas with an absolute cracker in the 89th minute after Clichy slipped and gave the ball away at the center field. Lennon scored in the 94th minute after Jenas(?) hit the post and simply tapped it in. Redknapp getting lucky or does he know what he's doing?
Man Utd also won 2-0 against West Ham. C.Ronaldo had a brace with one of them coming from an amazing play by Berbs. But that North London derby has definitely been EPL match of the year so far, imo.
redknapp is so lucky... first goal is like goal of the season, 3rd is also up there (and Jenas, WTF!?!?!) and last one just tops it off. Wenger just need to tell his team "this will never happen again" and arsenal will be eating up other opposition easily.
Didn't see the any other matches, but from the scores Hull got a dose of reality, maybe more when they face MU. Villa can really go for 4th place, if more nights like this happen to arsenal. Liverpool for some reason can't stop winning and Wigan is the new 'free fall' team.
looks like the spurs are back, its ironic they start stepping their game up just when ramos leave
btw anyone know where i can get the full game of Tottenham vs Chelsea on 2007? i believe it ended 4-4 , eveyone is telling me that was the game of the year of last season, i would appreciate it.
When the score was 4-3, Arsenal gave the ball away twice trying to go forward for another goal instead of just keeping possession and killing the game, which wouldn't have been hard to do considering that they were already in stoppage time. Plain stupidity or inexperience?
combination of stupidity, inexperience and wanting to play beautifully I guess
and pretty damn sweet goal by bentley rofl.. of course its a lucky shot, but it's still really impressive because usually when people shoot and score from that kind of distance (or further, like with alonso and beckham) they just have a lot more time to orient themselves.. here bentley gets the ball kind of randomly and manages to notice that the gk is far out, take control of the ball and deliver an amazing shot in one second.. http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1713673/ for those who havent seen it
I don't know how much luck was involved in Bentley's shot, but this kind of goal has been scored many times before, he certainly got lucky in that it was picture perfect, but bentley has the technique to get that kind of dipping shot on target most of the time. Also Modric used a similar technique (I think?) for the Lennon goal. Arsenal just got extremely unlikely although Almunia should take the blame for the 1st and 2nd goal imo. 1st goal he was off the line, despite it being a brilliant goal, 2nd goal he bobbled the shot, however Arsenal defense probably should've reacted faster.
I still can't believe they spent more money to get Pavluchenko than Berbatov, he's such a waste of space.
That was absolutely amazing. Berbatov was seriously an insanely good signing, especially since Tevez is just not scoring goals. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying Tevez is a bad player, cause I believe he is world class.. but he just isn't putting the ball into the back of the net or assisting as much as Berba is/will do.
