ST. LOUIS — Sarah Palin plans to go on the attack in tonight’s debate, hitting Joe Biden for what she will call his foreign policy blunders and penchant for adopting liberal positions on taxes and other issues, according to campaign officials involved in prepping her for tonight’s showdown.
Hot damn, she is stupider than we thought. She's going to try and call him on the "taxes are patriotic" but the obvious response is "would you rather we pay no taxes?" I don't understand what she's trying to come up with.
One example that was provided was Biden’s reference to North Korea as “a paper tiger” on CBS’s “The Early Show” in 2006. (“I would rather have seen it do exactly what it did, demonstrate to the whole world that it is in fact a paper tiger.”) NORTH KOREA IS A PAPER TIGER HOLY SHIT
Another example noted by the campaign was voting for defense cuts during the Reagan administration, and voting against the first Gulf war in 1991. (PolitiFact.com points out that he voted with the majority of Senate Democrats on the resolution.) Reagan's policies were atrocious and he was one of the most damaging presidents we've ever had. He was a great cheerleader and motivator for the conservative movement, but honestly the world would be a better place today if that bullet had killed him.

Dont forget to destroy some guns on the process.
You might as well do gay sex with guns.

It's being said that Sarah Palin will have her down come the debates. I'm too paranoid to think that she won't have an earpiece.

that could happen, but would she really be able to grasp its benefit ? this is the same woman that couldnt say "well i watch a lot of cnn" or something and later said "the elite are mad because a joe six pack is going to be VP"

On another note in how many hours is the debate? I might watch it if I don't get too tired.

I'm a medical student so I am interested in knowing what "science" you are talking about when you say that baby is part of the mother's body. I have my own thoughts on this that I will give you after you respond.
As an MD student you know that the embryo is actually a parasite that embeds itself into the mother. The syncitiotrophoblast divide and infiltrate into the mothers uterine lining and uterus suppressing her immune system in order to avoid being recognized as a foreign body and rejected. Eventually the miracle of life progresses and we get a baby. In this sense the placenta is intimately a part of the mothers body which was originally derived from the embryo.
Babies deform the mothers abdominal cavity stretching her abdominal wall oftentimes causing nasty looking deformities such as stretch marks while sucking away a woman's resources needed for survival while making her sick. The baby/parasite also increases the mothers risk of death. There is an additional burden when the creature final comes to term and the mother is forced to care for it by buying diapers, clothes and food. The lack of sleep caused by these creatures is often difficult to handle in any society. The tasks required to care for such a creature are arduous and not for everyone. Lastly, everyone knows the world doesn't need more people.

I'll be surprised if Palin puts in any good points or attacks in this debate.
Biden says a lot of stupid stuff when he's pandering but the difference between his stupid stuff and Palins is that when asked any remotely serious question he actually knows his shit and can really go in depth on an issue and educate people when he talks. It's very different from being informed of issues, or told what's going on. He knows it. She basically knows jack all and is cramming for a test while trying to nail talking points on a slew of issues that she hasn't worked with or know anything about. It's just really sad.

Sadly, the McCain ticket wins this debate regardless. There's no back and forth so she won't be caught in as many "gotcha" moments. The moderator is already worried about appearing bias so she will probably bend over backwards for Palin. Biden can't go after her because she will gain sympathy from the public. Most of the people that can't stand Palin are already in Obama's tank. Palin panders to the hardcore conservatives that have a history of disliking McCain, e.g. Rush Limbaugh didn't start dry humping McCain until he chose Palin. She helps him get in on the "Change" argument. She can't do any worse than Bush did in 2004, and if she does, it will just be blamed on the moderator. The last thing McCain's camp wanted was a different moderator, I can pretty much guarantee you that. He said she would be professional and able to do the job leading up to the debate, but now, hours before the debate starts, he says she is the wrong choice for the debate ( http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14207.html ). Palin will have the ability to completely avoid questions and not expect constant follow-up nagging the way she would in a face to face interview. No matter how you analyze it, picking this imbecile as Vice President is going to be the smartest thing McCain ever did.

I'm not willing to say it's the smartest thing he did, simply put because I still find it to be very dumb. It's not good for the country. People supporting McCain should recognize this choice and honestly say, "we can't have a dumb vice president on the job trying to push her own agenda rather than the interests of the people." They should really realize they are voting against their own interests and change their vote.
When so much goes wrong in a campaign, from ridiculous lie after lie, to realizing McCain is sold out and is a bitch to private interests, showed poor judgment and is in no way a "maverick", to picking a VP for purely political reasons rather than the best interests of the country... I just really wish rather than defending the side a person is voting on they would realize these things and see what is more important and vote accordingly. If Obama sucked more than McCain I would say, 'ho shit we can't have that'. I feel a lot of conservatives cling to their side when some logical part of their brain must know different. Maybe part of it is people are just too stubborn to admit they are wrong, because the general consensus almost everywhere of informed people is that the republican ticket has been absolutely ridiculous for a while now.
Abortion, gay marriage, and gun rights/control do not measure up in any way to real issues. =[

I'm pretty sure in a 90 minute debate there will be plenty of time for "Palin moments." At least I hope this is true so I'm entertained.

What do you have against gay marriage? Right, the bible said you'll go to hell for it. Remember a time when all left handed people were thought to be devils? and that they should be punished for it? In some extreme cases people were actually killed for it, how ridiculous does that sound? Until they found out being born left handed was in their genes not because they were witches did the whole thing die down. Same goes for being gay, I used to hate gays as well until one day I asked myself, what have they done to me that I have to bash them every chance I get? think about it. I Don't even wanna bother with researching if people are born with it or suddenly change into a gay, there are all types of people out there I'm not surprise if it's both, but who cares, that's not the main point anyway, Keep in mind that there are homosexuality in ANIMALS as well, so stop hating. I used to be a strong christian as well, but it seems to me there are logical fallacies in the bible which tend to say if you're not a true christian you're going to hell what about all the other religions that say the same freakin thing? isn't the safest way then to believe in every god? this makes it a a lot harder for people who grew up in tribes without getting a chance to "know" the one real god, i suppose they go to hell too right? it just doesn't seem fair. But still I consider myself a christian just in case.
