anyway, i just wnted to mention that joe biden's daughter is very attractive. edit: haha, last night jon stewart said this about clinton: "People are talking about him like he's going to unleash a string of profanities, like he's a crazy person." lol, i found that so funny btw, if you can't already tell, I view this entire campaign (and all politics) as a kind of comedic circus. i love itttt | ||

Personally, I'm really looking forward to the Bush and Cheney speeches/segments of the RNC. Completely independent of political value or strength in what they say, and no matter how well they are received (good or bad), it will be a masterpiece of entertainment. | ||

Is he expecting to pick up Hillary supporters with this? Because Hillary supporters who vote McCain because of Palin ought to be ashamed of themselves. "I support Palin because after Hillary left the race I wanted a candidate who is diametrically opposed to Hillary on every issue." Hillary was a legitimate candidate with a sterling resume. Palin has NO resume. So supporting her like that shows that their support is based entirely on gender, which of course makes them no better than the bigots who refused to vote for Hillary just because she was a woman. To me, this just seems like a slap in the face to Hillary's supporters, as McCain is implying that their votes can be "bought" so easily. Also, so much for McCain's "experience is key" talking point. That kinda went out the window with this pick. What the heck is he going to base his campaign off of now? It's like he just threw the campaign message in the shitter. I don't know what the republican's were thinking, unless they really expect Hillary supporters to switch sides. And honestly, I don't think that's very likely. | ||

The trouble is that many (almost all) newspapers carry AP stories. Just look through a newspaper and see how many times the byline -AP appears | ||

Mccain really needs someone to boost his standing in economy, Romney would have done well, as everyone knows who Romney is, and i had never even heard of Palin before (Bostonians don't care much about Alaska, sorry) | ||
