The problem is not that we don't drill, it is that the big oil companies export the oil and hold on to supply to maintain high prices. Drilling will not create a flood of supply on the market and bring down prices. Oil companies will continue to do what they are already doing. McCains earmark mantra bugs me because it is a small % of our budget. If we cut out all the earmarks from our budget(some of which are good, a fact McCain ignores), we would still have a big budget problem. Than what are we going to do? This guy just doesn't make sense. That's like saying that a families budget is strained because there mortgage accounts for 45% of there take home pay, so lets cut back on the $20/month they spend at blockbuster. Seriously... the earmarks thing bugs me too, and obama brings it up pretty often, and this comment seems to be ignored a lot though i don't know where that 18 billion dollar figure comes from, i'm curious.

Maybe they think that by showing fake stats they will empower the republicans that think john McCain will lose and get them to vote ?

It isn't a random sample, so while it isn't a fake statistic, it is a useless statistic. It might as well be fake because it is a reflection of what Fox wanted to show not what is actually the truth. Kind of like if TL had what is the best game ever poll SC would win with well over 90% of the vote although even if all gamers respect Starcraft 90% wouldn't call it the best game ever.

Cos right now the health system is going to hell the same way wall street was doing it just a bit while ago. You imply that wall street isn't currently going to hell.

Overall, poor people wait in huge lines but if they dont die on the wait they will get medical care for sure, the emergency system work fine, and it guarantee that you will get your treatment, whatever that might be, nonmatter whats your problem. I dont know ... public services are really important for us here, Brazilians believe firmly that its the government responsability to provide all basic services like health, education, energy (tho it got privatized a while ago). We even give free medicin to people that cant buy them. But its a consensus, that the moment you have the money to stop using public services, you will, because they just suck ass, and the private alternative is better.

I know exactly what youre saying, we had exactly same thing in Belarus but i do believe that even in that shape or form with lack of proper equipment and medication it was still superior to American system. There definetely has to be a private sector, im not saying get rid of it, private sector creates competition amongst doctors which is completely lacking atm. But the problem with current system is that people who can afford to pay are in complete control over the doctor because they're counting their own money. The people who are subsidized by government either die because it doesnt cover them or have to go through a lot of unnecessary procedures, surgeries even, because doctor in US is about as rotten of profession as oil company CEO. Its money laundering basically.

I don't watch MSNBC, but I'm pretty sure that they never pointed out that Biden lied in his debate many times. The restaurant he mentioned hasn't existed for 15 years. His current neighborhood is not a normal neighborhood. We did not kick Hezbollah out of Lebanon. (he is a foreign policy expert?) He lied about Obama wanting to meet with various enemies. (Obama said he would in the Youtube debate. In fact Biden attacked Obama for making that statement.) Did the liberal news organizations point any of this out? Does one having lied affect anyone's view of who won the debate?

Actually, I believe the major ones did not point that out at all. I could be wrong, but for example I can't find anything in major American left-leaning newspapers like the nytimes or the channel msnbc or cnn when searching for "biden lied in debate" without quotes. Did anyone get informed by any of those sources?

CNN.com definitely covered them. And I know you're just trolling but you should probably touch up on your Google skills.
