And he worked on the Diablo series. yeah i'm starting to like this theory read: "The Creature currently being revealed in the hidden pictures could actually be a hommage to: Michael Dashow, Designer on Diablo 2. 1. : If you check his page, on the frontpage you clearly see a pink walrus, being his signature creature. In his art-forums, he is also known as "walrus". 2. : The only Letters we currently get from the picture-names are D, O and W. While they may not resemble "DIABLO", with an additional 3 letters they may clearly resemble "DASHOW" from diablofans.com PS. zizou already linked us to the dashow purple walrus

I could see something like Guild Wars (except way better, of course) Meaning that towns are like bnet channels where people can meet up and then party up, and then go into certain areas that are instanced for them only. Hopefully they keep the main idea of mass monsters to fight instead of like in WoW where 3 monsters+ is you = dead most of the time. Then it wouldn't be pay to play, but would still be MMOish (landscape is more accessible), but also Diabloish (smaller parties, no "zerging"). GW could have been a lot better if they changed a few things with the UI and the way you controlled your character, etc. I firmly believe that if it's something like that Blizzard could make it work (because I suspect a lot here didn't like GW)

Your calculations are completely wrong, because what blizzard holds as a subscriber, doesnt not mean they are paying the 15/m your assuming in any situation. Quoted from one of the sources i listed earlier " World of Warcraft’s Subscriber Definition World of Warcraft subscribers include individuals who have paid a subscription fee or have an active prepaid card to play World of Warcraft, as well as those who have purchased the game and are within their free month of access. Internet Game Room players who have accessed the game over the last thirty days are also counted as subscribers. The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards. Subscribers in licensees’ territories are defined along the same rules." The 10 Million is saying that INTEREST has increased in world of warcraft, not that their sales have gone up by that much. Blizzard is not hiding or making up numbers or anything, all this speculation your making is pointless.

So now we've got the Frostmourne symbol on the left, Hel rune on the top right, and Protoss symbol on the bottom left (if you check SC2, you can see it). I think as it melts more it will be a new title, if not, D3 gogo. Here's a cool thing summing everything up: http://www.sclegacy.com/

Lol. Do you believe everything Blizzard.com, the only official site, says? SC: GHOST OMG OMG OMG COMING SOON. Next day. What is this SC: Ghost you speak of? DiabloII.net is the most reliable D2 fan sites. Just like TL is the most reliable SC fan site (well IMO). We'll just see when D3 is announced ^.^

Did I SAY I showed no skepticism towards Blizzard.com? Of course not. I simply meant as good as their inside source might be, it is not official.

I'm too lazy to go on Paint and circle shit and stuff so I'll try to explain it as best as I can. This is ALL speculation, though. I could be completely wrong or dead on ![]() Picture an outline of Arthas wearing the helm of the Lich King facing downward southwest. The little chip of crystal is the jewel that is encrusted in his helm. The other two are probably from his armor? Uh yeah something like that lol

I mean, wc3 has many new rpg elements that weren't in wc2, but it's still wc3.

Blizzard had a Warcraft Adventure/RPG game before. I think you played as Thrall, one of the War Chiefs. Anyway, normally in storymode games they like to switch it up: Warcraft: The Adventures of (fill-in-the-blank). So, if they were to announce a Diablo MMORPG, they could call it something like the World of Diablo, or Diablo: Return to Hell. Diablo has never been adapted in this way before, so it is a new experience.
