How do you announce something that has already been announced, come on man that's just rediculous.
The only time they've done anything similar to this? That's right sc2 announcement.
|
Probably WotLK release date, SC2 release date and D3's announcement for a triple-whammy that will make Blizzard fans cream their pants worldwide.
|
lol do you guys honestly think sc2 is gonna come out in 3 months? ill bite my tongue and take it in the ass if i'm wrong but i find that EXTREMELY doubtful.
But anyway, I dunno if this had been posted yet on this forum I found this on WCReplays.com but it isn't originally from there. + Show Spoiler +

It's D3. SC2 won't be out in 3 months, or shouldn't be anyways.
|
If there is any 'new game' announcement it will be DMMORPG not D3. So, quit the D3 talk. It won't resemble anything like it and even then the chances of them announcing it now are small.
|
Showtime! why would they make another MMORPG to take away from the popularity and customers of their current MMORPG? It'll likely be a dungeoncrawler just like the original Diablo.
And I don't recall saying anything about SC2 being in 3 months. I just said release date. If you're not referring to me, ignore this sentence.

They've been working on it for like.... 5 years man.

Maybe April 1st, to continue with its legacy.

Blizzard's Q4 profit in 2007 was 24% less than in 2006. WoW is on a huge decline.

SC2 in three months is impossible as it hasn't even gone through open beta which could by itself last three months (or be three months away) and it would be stupid for Blizzard to start declaring release dates months in advance like that.
If the rings do refer to months/dates then they will more than likely refer to when those things go into open beta or more accurately when Blizzard plans on putting them in open beta.

Right, exactly, and on top of what you just said there is also newer MMO's that people are switching to and one in particular (Warhammer) which a huge chunk of the WoW players plans on switching to.

A lot of people feel they don't want to do all the work all over again when Lich King comes out.
|
True, the expansion will back some of the more dedicated players, but an expansion only keeps people playing for about 6 months or so...
And if they announce another mmorpg it may very well be another 1.5 years before they release it, anticipating the slow decline of wow.

lol at the losing of players because they don't want to do it 'over again.' The whole point of a MMORPG is never ending content and levels etc.
MMOs is where the big money is at unfortunately.
Oh and Frits, it is possible and likely they'll announce official news on the new battle.net, betas for SC2, WOTLK, etc. you know.
|
Never ending content and levels was indeed the idea when wow came out, i thought it was going to be like that as well, but currently i'm sure many people wouldn't mind new classes, new ways of fighting (tired of the old tank + healer + 3 dps), better graphics, more interaction and new story elements.
You could theoretically upgrade wow to do all that but it's so much you might as well make a new game, it's a lot more satisfying for everybody (including devs).
edit: what is wrong with the WoW EU site, i was going to fire up the WoW for another month but i need the site to deposit.

sorry to spoil it guys, but i'm afraid i've figured it out

Dude that Walrus picture is sick. I hope they're making a game called Wally the Walrus.

Maybe it's a Lost Vikings sequel.
