The school I go to is the best public school in the state (Ohio), yet it's in like the worst public school district. The country in general fucks the education system horribly. Kids are educated to be stupid slobs so that the media is successful, people care about celebrities, everyone is a bunch of ignorant xenophobic socially backwards animals. I don't do anything or put any effort into school, while being at a school ranked #276 in the whole country, and I get top grades in the "hardest" classes, and everyone tells me how great and smart I am, and it's only because everyone is fucking stupid. But it's not really their fault, because they're being bred to be stupid. Education is shifting from being a system to force Americans to compete and hopefully be superior (educationally) to people around the world (namely, smarter than the soviets) to being a fucking day-care.
I'm not allowed to think in terms of stereotypes or be racist or sexist at all even when I see these stereotypes overwhelmingly on a daily basis. My school district is 80% "black" and 20% "white" even though, everyone who's not black (asians, hispanics, which apparently covers everyone not "black" or "white") is also part of "white". People don't just think it's cool to be dumb, it really is cool to be stupid and be "gangsta". Too many fundamentalists here in the south for my taste.
Various (mainly gay rights, which is the one I'm most entrenched in) political rights issues that I feel are only being argued by many out of forms of xenophobia, which disgusts me.
Social support system in general is pretty bad. Main issues I have with it being the shitty Health Care and Education system as far as costs of college go, and as far as quality for the public school systems go. The latter I've had more personal experience with. For a quick example, in my eighth year of school, the first few months in math class were spent doing two digit addition and multiplication. I'm not kidding.
I can't really think of anything else. I don't hate the country in general, though. Just certain groups of people in it and how the social portions of the government are piss-poor.
I love my country, and I love living here, especially when I hear how things are outside of the country, but there's still plenty I dislike, mostly the people.
The school I go to is the best public school in the state (Ohio), yet it's in like the worst public school district. The country in general fucks the education system horribly. Kids are educated to be stupid slobs so that the media is successful, people care about celebrities, everyone is a bunch of ignorant xenophobic socially backwards animals. I don't do anything or put any effort into school, while being at a school ranked #276 in the whole country, and I get top grades in the "hardest" classes, and everyone tells me how great and smart I am, and it's only because everyone is fucking stupid. But it's not really their fault, because they're being bred to be stupid. Education is shifting from being a system to force Americans to compete and hopefully be superior (educationally) to people around the world (namely, smarter than the soviets) to being a fucking day-care.
I'm not allowed to think in terms of stereotypes or be racist or sexist at all even when I see these stereotypes overwhelmingly on a daily basis. My school district is 80% "black" and 20% "white" even though, everyone who's not black (asians, hispanics, which apparently covers everyone not "black" or "white") is also part of "white". People don't just think it's cool to be dumb, it really is cool to be stupid and be "gangsta". Half of fucking bnet even calls people their "niggas" and talks in butchered "ghetto" english, and half of fucking bnet isn't even just americans wtf. The majority of the people I see at school on a daily basis are aggressive black men/boys and shrieking black girls/women. I wish they sounded like chimps, they'd be easier to listen to. Most of the white people are worse, in that they actually copy this stupid behavior because it's "cool". My school is so ahead of the rest of the district, that they've decided to level out the playing field so we don't feel too elitist. They do this by dragging my school down to fail with the rest of the schools so no one looks "bad". It's fucking bullshit. The No Child Left Behind Act fucking butchered education. All it does is take kids who don't want to succeed, and put them in "good" schools to try and help them. But since they've been socially taught to not learn or succeed, all they do is bring the whole school down.
I'm supposed to compete with the rest of the world, but my country is socially teaching all kids to be stupid, so the media and education caters to stupid people. We really aren't taught to learn a foreign language. We have mandatory foreign language classes, but most of the time you really aren't expected to learn the language, just pass the class. The fact that you can pass a language class without learning the language alone is ridiculous.

Lets protest it by doing NOTHING, that'll show 'em! The whole Clinton vs Obama thing was ridiculous. They were basically the same candidate ideologically, yet people were pitting them against eachother like it was Bush vs Gore again. The people who supported Obama hated Clinton just for being Clinton, the same assbackwards way the Republicans hate Clinton for being Clinton. There's no difference between Republicans and Democrats, they're the same idiots just preaching the other side. Obama supporters are cultist like Ron Paul supporters are.
The country's hipocrisy rivals 1984's DoubleThink. Republicans yell at Democrats for doing exactly what the Republicans are doing. Democrats let themselves get fucked in the ass, and when they get some power they either shoot themselves in the foot, or do nothing at all, the great wait-it-out tactic lol.
People whine about the economy when they're still in fucking middle class despite the economy going to shit. They bawwwwwwww about gas being so high, but all that does is mean they have to remove luxury expenses. The lower class really is going to shit, whether they drive or not, because the price of food, electricity, gas (for house heating), and all appliances and services are going up, without wages going up, which only further hurts the entire economy. So people decide to counter this by whining, and doing nothing else. Instead of finding a way to fix the problem technologically, they just blame people for the problem.

My biggest complaint is the technology thing. People are afraid of all forms of technology they don't already own, it's ridiculous. People look down on the sciences, even though the sciences is what brought them all of their creature comforts.

Then liberals start gathering around Ron Paul as their hero, even when he openly denounces the theories of evolution. Clinton supporters are such blind idiots they try and threaten Obama supporters by saying they'll vote for McCain over Obama when it makes no sense to do so, especially when Obama ideologically is basically just a more charismatic Clinton. No kidding, I agree with all of that stuff. Probably the most painful realization when I got out of high school and into college was how stupid everyone else is. People are retarded! And these same people are VOTING, using retarded logic! Prettymuch, I wish there was an entrance exam before you voted, just to test your competency.
