I can't believe it. I thought I lived in the safest place in the world. I could have been at that mall when they come back with automatic rifles...
Just look at the top comments. Why say they are Middle Eastern? BECAUSE THEY ARE.
People need to wake up and smell the coffee. Our cultures are not compatible. Canada wants to welcome 10,000 refugees, the majority of which are young males. They don't believe in freedom of speech, religious freedom, pretty much anything we hold dear as our core western values.
The Jews have been dealing with terrorism from the Muslims for decades. Why do Canadians think they are different? Are the Jews just evil and stupid? Will it be any different when we import thousands of Muslims into our country? Keep in mind, these are not the usual cream of the crop immigrants who go through the vigorous immigration process. We're letting in the ones with the least education and the lowest sexual market value. What happens when you import a largely male population with low sexual market value? Rapes go up.
Why is the government letting them in? They will be on welfare for minimum 5 years. Guess who they vote for? Whoever signs the welfare cheques.

There's 2 sides to every coin. Look at it from a humanitarian's point of view. Would you prefer having them living among terrorists, and having their women raped more ? Of course there shall be problems, and compatibility will be an issue. But every other alternative is extremely immoral. Was every German evil because of Hitler? No. Look at it from their perspective. I don't disagree with you entirely, but your view on this matter is too skewed. Be more open to both arguments. Also, no place is entirely safe of terrorism, and immigration in a country has little to no difference in its terrorism. These are basic facts that came in the papers, you may want to read up on the facts of this entire issue and then pass your judgement.

So because I don't want people to come to my country who don't share the same values and want to impose their theocratic dictatorship on us, I want them to be raped? No. I don't want them to be raped. I also don't want my mother and sister to be raped. There is no question what they were doing. Trying to cover it up is criminal. Europe has mainly Problems with Maghreb/Balcanese immigrants/asylants. Canada, due to location, can pick and choose who comes and yes, there will be some cultural diffrences/difficulties either way, but 10k "handpicked" regufees is not even remotely comparable to what europe faces.

Yeah, we shouldn't put it in the news that a mall was being analyzed for mass shootings just weeks after mass shootings in other countries. what??? I won't be going to that mall for at least a year. I don't trust the Police to be smart enough to defend us or get there in time. If I had the money I'd apply for a carry permit.

I was kidding about it being boring but the headline just sounded funny to me
I will ask my brother what he knows about this because he does work security at that mall but I doubt the thread will still be open tomorrow
