Just lost bnet - and with it, guild chat. Apparently they tied the guild chat to the bnet system instead of the server now. That has it's somewhat obvious drawbacks in hindsight

T-24 minutes! If it's anything like Legion we may start to get access at T-15 minutes.

Just logged in, it's now asking me to select a new server/create new character. Are characters erased every new expansion? Just started playing a couple months ago.

No it is a problem people, including myself, are having with auth servers. All back screen and nothing happening on char select screen.

Expansion is live, i got my Heart several minutes before midnight so my achievement is dated the 13'th despite launch on 14'th server time officially

They spread the launch over half an hour or so rather than making it available for everyone at 00:00:00

some people get it enabled at say 11:52pm, others at 11:55, 11:58 and so on

I finished the introductory questline without any technical problems. It's a bit of an adjustment seeing my level, leatherworking, and skinning level all going up.

Once you select an ability for your special equipment (outer ring, for example), are you ever able to change it?

You can change it but the system is set up so that there's an increasing cost that makes it cheap to do it if you rarely do so (3 times a week) but quickly costing near infinite amounts of gold if you try to do it more often than that

Got my second zone done, gonna do the last couple storylines for rep and full zone achievement there as well. Well on track for 120 today although not going hard enough to get it in the first 12 hours, server performance is rock solid since we got over the launch bumps

Forgot i'm in warmode too, havn't seen a horde for 6 hours. For that matter they seem to have sharded it super sparely so that there is nobody around which is nice for launch day

Am I dumb or is it logical that there is no Alliance/Horde/opposing faction, everyone is leveling in their own respective zones, WQs in enemy territory come later right.
