Likewise, I'm just a huge whore for Blizzard's art design, if I even went near the game in its current state, I'd never leave the house again. The few screenshots I saw looked so god damn fantastic again... I'd rather stick to the private TBC server, where it took me half a year to get to 70 because I never felt an obligation to play when I didn't want to. The time commitment needed in a breathing, evolving, alive WoW is way too much, as much as I'd like it. | ||

 Though it seems to have stabilized now? Haven't even gotten BFA yet. Resubbed a few weeks (2-3?) ago and still haven't fully decided on what character to play. played a bunch of stuff to like 10-25 and did a bunch of class trials. Favs so far: Frost DK, Fire Mage, Rogue, Monk. Haven't tested Hunter yet, so will prolly do that today or tomorrow. Will probably take me a while to decide on a character and then some to hit 110. Don't think I will have the time to go deep into endgame raiding or whatnot. More in it to have something chill to do after work or like a on Sunday afternoon. So I basically have all the time in the world. Does that mean that it is all about the journey? Does it take me this long to figure out what class I want to play, because I don't know what I want / need to discover myself first? Feeling pretty Zen rn. Maybe I should just roll a monk (roll. monk. get it? yes that was horrible). /rant | ||

At about the same time there was another poop quest. First it was riding a bird and having it crap on adversaries. This time, you need to rummage through dog droppings to get a sack of jewels. The dev team should really see a therapist. | ||

Heads up for healers: better to stock up on water that restores 5% mana per second than rely on the new water, which restores mana at a slower rate. edit: found some better water. weird how you have to search for decent food and water. if you find the good water then it's actually way better than 5% per sec. and then at 120 you wanna go back to 5%. you end up at 100,000 mana so the 83k water is worse than 5% | ||

Momentum is nice, relatively highly tuned but probably on purpose because there is a lot of inefficiency (from human skill or even map/boss layout) in using it; if it was 2'nd or 3'rd on a simulation it'd rarely get touched. On 14 ping i can VR and then hit another ability and it'll cast before i leave range; on 150 i couldn't reliably. I don't like balancing stuff with such a tight requirement for responsiveness to be able to select the talent and do okay but it seems playable for me personally now. It remains too slow to quick-dodge a lot of dungeon mechanics since you often have to wait more than 1 second for the GCD to become available and then a further few seconds for the jumping animation to get you far enough away so it's not responsive to "i need to GTFO right now" | ||
