Yeah to unlock the ability to get the 925ilvl armor missions you have to complete the last zone macree in which you help the bow lady (sorry im bad at names xD) Then when you have 6x followers 925ilvl you will complete her quest to unlock mission rewards in macree which help even more.

Yes, the best gold missions require 950 followers and for that you need to complete the Argus quest line up to the Instance quest at the end (don't need to do the actual instance).

No real numbers, but this guys says xp when dungeon boosting is 25-50% of what it was.
And that the buff is only applied to the dungeon completion bonus, which is now at 1/3 of a level at level 25.

That’s not quite accurate. The best gold missions unlock as soon as you unlock Argus missions. There’s no meaningful difference in the rewards when comparing the 900 iLvl Argus missions with the 950 ones.
It is a little easier to 200% them at 950 because of epic gear, but it is still very easy to 200% the 900 missions. So if you’re setting up an alt army that’s a significant difference in time invested.

Having the bonus apply on the random dungeon completion is not ideal, that means queuing into a lot of dungeons that suck for exp and that you've already done quests in so the overall rate won't be increased that much if at all.
It will make random spam more competitive with questing while queuing one time into each good dungeon but it won't make the optimal leveling route without boosting significantly faster so it's not much of an overall improvement IMO
since hitting wod leveling has become much faster - some stuff is a real struggle in the lower parts of leveling - not enjoying it at all - but transmog T_T

Well I am leveling a voidelf and dont use transmogs ever.
im quite enjoying it. I havent levelled anything for like 6-7 years so its alot of fun and im enjoying taking my time with it. But granted after running 2-3 chars I will probably have had enough for the next 6-7 years.
When I 1st started leveling again it was a pain and slow...but then I remembered that heirlooms were a thing and popped 3 onto my new pally and it was a lot better.
Just been questing while queuing for dungeons and that seems to work pretty well.
I put 5 heirlooms on a priest alt I'm leveling, but they only go to lvl 60. Reading about heirloom upgrades, it'll be very expensive to upgrade them to 110. Spending 2500 for the 5 heirlooms was an OK investment - I make that back with 1 order hall mission - but spending 40000 to upgrade all 5 to 110 seems excessive. Any good advice here by the TL experts?
I know there must be other ways to get these upgrades because I have one in my bank! No clue how I got it, didn't know what it was at the time heh. Maybe from a daily BG reward box or something?
You can earn them from timewalking and typically world events have them too During WoD there was also a quest line that let you slowly earn upgrades, not sure if you can still do them however.

You can get it from timewalk badges but apart from that I am sure 40k is still easily worth it. 40k is earned in maybe 2 hours at max level and this will save you way more than 2 hours.
