Hello dear BW community, My name is as you can see „Pharaphobia“(before somebody asks, it means „Fear of Myself“ and I’m casual streamer/caster for Czech StarCraft audience. However with my fulltime job I felt like I want to support StarCraft scenes (both BW,SC2) with few fun cups with small reward. The thing I’m like D+ player, who watched tons of VODS so I have few questions, because I know that few guys from here like to stream aswell! So here are my questions:
1.) Can we broadcast BW games live with a delay by OBS?(Open Broadcast Software) Since I saw that few guys has been broadcasted from replay which I don’t want. 2.) I saw that one korea stream used some kind of widescreen Brood War which would be so awesome!
3.) Are there enough High Ranked players to fullfill RO16 cup?
4.) Is there somebody willing to cast this with me so it wont look like a dumb guy talking nonsence about factories being builded right now? Hehe x)

There are a couple of reasons, why most casters do replay instead of live commentary. First there is no downtime in between the games, where an opponent is not ready yet. You also cannot cast every game if they are played simultaneously. Not playing complete stages simultaneously means much more organizational effort. Live casting also means higher chances for lag.
So it doesn't matter if it will be EU cup with EU players, because there is still a chance for lags? Well I have some exp with RO16 Torunament and it can clearly be "One evening show "!

There are few ppl who hates me alot so they probably made a fake account... I would not be suprised, because I could not use Pharaphobia while I tryed to reg an account. Thats I have been using SC2 on the end for a while ! Sorry for the problems tho.. T_T but you know haters.. :E

1) I don't think there's a delay option, but I'm not a streamer 2) no, definitely not if you play. Just for obs - no idea. Might be you can't activate LanLat, hence rep cast 3) totally 4) yes. doesn't stop anyone, yoda plays/casts simultaneously too
Well there you go then, it's been here before. It worked but there were some delays and iirc the finals had to be done from replays anyway. I would only recommend live games streaming if there's enough games to cast, so in case one doesn't work out you can go jump into a different one.

Jobs! We shouldn't be required to have them if we support Brood War.
OBS has a delay system. Very easy to use. If you can't figure it out just give another post here or use TL's awesome Tech forum section. The people there answer all questions with clarity.
Don't worry about feeling stupid and have fun. I'm sorry I can't offer to co-cast. I won't be returning until January and will only be doing Korean casts.
1) Yes you can cast with delay, however coordinating the players is more difficult than setting up the delay in OBS.
2) There is a widescreen resolution hack (using the actual definition of hack, not a bad thing), however it will not be compatible with ICCup Lan Latency, so again would be easier to implement from replay than live.
3) There are plenty of high ranked players available, depending on the tournament format and prizepool you will attract a slightly different crowd.
4) There are a variety of foreign casters such as L_Master, Ninazerg, Sayle, Elegant and players who cast such as Eonzerg and others, who may participate with you if you talk to them. I'd also offer to cast if the timing is viable, but I am also busy until mid January.

Dude, it's definitely not him, didn't you read what he wrote when you brought it up? He said it was the work of those who hate on him. I was saying that they did a good job of trying to bring him down by almost imitating him perfectly. It's not hard to do, even I could do it. 1.) Let's say we pick up 16 Europe players with fulltime jobs (like I have). Tournament would start at 18:00 CET (so like 20:00 in Russia? and 17:00 in Spain? I think it will be possible to make it as one evening event with livecasted games and maybe finals from replays. You think this scenario is possible?
2.) I tried obs and it's working fine so even my special overlays for Brood War
3.) It makes no sense to me why would I hate the game and then trying to bring some fun tourney for money? ;p

Ninazerg, online stalking and identity theft are very real things. Your initial investigative work has brought the issue to my attention, and after a little snooping around I have found irrefutable evidence that we are dealing with professionals here. However, I fear you may be a co-conspirator, because one of the Pharaphobias showed romantic interest in you (I can dig up the post if necessary but I decided to give you both some privacy and respect), so I have to make my findings public.
@PharaphobiaSC2: Here are the reasons why I am certain your internet security and anonymity have been compromised:
1. The perpetrators/imitators did not come after you. They came BEFORE you. This is perhaps the most disturbing and incriminating fact I have managed to uncover. It is one thing to imitate someone in a public outlet where they have already made their presence known. That is easy. You simply have to study their posting style and reproduce it.
These criminals, however, managed to not only replicate your posting style before it became publicly known to this community, they had planned it nearly 9 months in advance. Please refer to the timeline below:
The pattern of their activity is also indicative of intense personal knowledge of not just your posting mannerisms, but of your very intentions; things that have not yet come to pass. Seemingly knowing that you would one day be tempted by the forum that is TeamLiquid, they lay in waiting for you to express interest in joining. They were clearly tipped off at some point prior to 23/10/2013. However, they waited until 17/07/2014 to start posting. Why?
Very simple: the time wasn't right. They put the time under their belt, so that if it came to you vs. them, they would win being that they have tenure. If you were to confront "Pharaphobia" directly, they would claim that YOU are the imitator, and have the dates to prove it. Unfortunately, this never came to pass. They were banned on 09/10/2014; you joined on 25/11/2014. Doesn't that seem a little odd?
To me, this reads as an obvious clue. The perpetrator(s) is(are) likely cowardly. They cannot admit when they have made a mistake, told or lived a lie, said things just to put on a false image, and they will deny that they are in denial.They did not have the stones to handle the confrontation between the real "Pharaphobia" (PharaphobiaSC2) and the fake that they put forward. Thus, they began making increasingly offensive posts in order to get permanently banned and make a clean getaway, tarnishing your reputation in the process.
Please review who you have been talking to between July and November 2014. Someone must have known that you were planning to make your account on TeamLiquid soon, otherwise such a perfect exit would not have been possible, and confrontation would have been inevitable. Everyone you have mentioned this information to is suspect.
2. They were privy to your posting style before you made your appearance here. This has been mentioned above by my fellow sleuth Ninazerg, but it is worth repeating with added weight. The real issue here is that this must be someone who followed you closely enough from July (probably) or at least October, either in person or electronically.

The repeated use of "" at the end of a line, sometimes followed by punctuation, is statistically significant given the low post count of both "Pharaphobia" and the real "PharaphobiaSC2". Because this is something that can only be replicated through mutual online experience, this is a major clue to finding out who has been tarnishing your name. It has to be someone who has seen you post extensively before the aforementioned months, with intent that reaches back into late 2013. That should limit the list of people this fake "Pharaphobia" could be down to a handful, right? Your input is necessary for further investigation at this point. Please feel free to PM me.
3. They have assimilated your interests and your questions, misled your viewerbase. Nothing is safe. TeamLiquid user "Pharaphobia" set their website to "twitch.tv/Pharaphobia" which contains a lot of information, likely about you. If this is your Twitch channel, then they are simply using it as a method of authenticating their disguise. If that personal information is about you, that means that they know too much about you. In fact, the name is connected to you on multiple sites. Here is a brief list that Google provided, some of them containing the same personal information that can be found on the Twitch stream:
If any of these are NOT profiles you have created, please contact the hosting site immediately!!! Identity theft only gets easier with mass proliferation such as this. The age on at least the last one matches the one on Twitch, which corresponds to the Blizzard account "Pharaphobia" for SC2, and it has a photo of you(?). If I were you, and that photo was indeed of me, I would be very scared. However, it brings us just 1 step closer to finding out who this faker is. They have access to your photos. It must be someone you have shared the photos with.
By the way, "Pharaphobia" is not a real word. According to Google, there is no definition for this word. I'm injecting this here to let you know that there is no mistaking that any imitation is purely intentional - there is such a slim chance that two separate people could come up with the same fake phobia. I am guessing you were already aware of this, as you have many haters who are out to get you, but I just wanted to eliminate any doubt you may have still had.
Anyway, my final piece of evidence is their mimicry of your interests. Look at your posting history:
Do you notice anything suspicious? You are a Destiny follower - posting on subjects pertaining to him. Likewise, Paraphobia posted about Destiny multiple times as well. I know that this is not a large clue, as Destiny surely has many followers, but this simply adds another constraint to the list of possible thieves. Likewise, you are both (or at least they can pretend to be) into SC2 AND BW. Which, again, does not diminish the list greatly, but I'm sure it helps.

To be honest a lot of "hate posts are mine", but not all. If I should explain all of these, it would be WALL OF TEXT... First big mistake was leaving my computer turned on LanCraft ._. If only you had gotten to the ID 'Pharaphobia' first. It's also pretty impressive that they got your style of English writing down so well so that they even got your mannerisms down, and knew you were from the Czech Republic. What confuses me is why, as a method of discrediting you, they would just post randomly on TL like a normal person who occasionally crosses the line with passive-aggressive humor. I'm not an expert on Czech culture, so this kind of behavior might be seen as the ultimate disgrace. I dunno. What did you do to get them to hate you so much that they stalk you and learn to mimic you almost exactly?
Ninazerg, online stalking and identity theft are very real things. Your initial investigative work has brought the issue to my attention, and after a little snooping around I have found irrefutable evidence that we are dealing with professionals here. However, I fear you may be a co-conspirator, because one of the Pharaphobias showed romantic interest in you (I can dig up the post if necessary but I decided to give you both some privacy and respect), so I have to make my findings public.
@PharaphobiaSC2: Here are the reasons why I am certain your internet security and anonymity have been compromised:
1. The perpetrators/imitators did not come after you. They came BEFORE you. This is perhaps the most disturbing and incriminating fact I have managed to uncover. It is one thing to imitate someone in a public outlet where they have already made their presence known. That is easy. You simply have to study their posting style and reproduce it.
These criminals, however, managed to not only replicate your posting style before it became publicly known to this community, they had planned it nearly 9 months in advance. Please refer to the timeline below:
The pattern of their activity is also indicative of intense personal knowledge of not just your posting mannerisms, but of your very intentions; things that have not yet come to pass. Seemingly knowing that you would one day be tempted by the forum that is TeamLiquid, they lay in waiting for you to express interest in joining. They were clearly tipped off at some point prior to 23/10/2013. However, they waited until 17/07/2014 to start posting. Why?
Very simple: the time wasn't right. They put the time under their belt, so that if it came to you vs. them, they would win being that they have tenure. If you were to confront "Pharaphobia" directly, they would claim that YOU are the imitator, and have the dates to prove it. Unfortunately, this never came to pass. They were banned on 09/10/2014; you joined on 25/11/2014. Doesn't that seem a little odd?
To me, this reads as an obvious clue. The perpetrator(s) is(are) likely cowardly. They cannot admit when they have made a mistake, told or lived a lie, said things just to put on a false image, and they will deny that they are in denial.They did not have the stones to handle the confrontation between the real "Pharaphobia" (PharaphobiaSC2) and the fake that they put forward. Thus, they began making increasingly offensive posts in order to get permanently banned and make a clean getaway, tarnishing your reputation in the process.
Please review who you have been talking to between July and November 2014. Someone must have known that you were planning to make your account on TeamLiquid soon, otherwise such a perfect exit would not have been possible, and confrontation would have been inevitable. Everyone you have mentioned this information to is suspect.
2. They were privy to your posting style before you made your appearance here. This has been mentioned above by my fellow sleuth Ninazerg, but it is worth repeating with added weight. The real issue here is that this must be someone who followed you closely enough from July (probably) or at least October, either in person or electronically.

The repeated use of "" at the end of a line, sometimes followed by punctuation, is statistically significant given the low post count of both "Pharaphobia" and the real "PharaphobiaSC2". Because this is something that can only be replicated through mutual online experience, this is a major clue to finding out who has been tarnishing your name. It has to be someone who has seen you post extensively before the aforementioned months, with intent that reaches back into late 2013. That should limit the list of people this fake "Pharaphobia" could be down to a handful, right? Your input is necessary for further investigation at this point. Please feel free to PM me.
3. They have assimilated your interests and your questions, misled your viewerbase. Nothing is safe. TeamLiquid user "Pharaphobia" set their website to "twitch.tv/Pharaphobia" which contains a lot of information, likely about you. If this is your Twitch channel, then they are simply using it as a method of authenticating their disguise. If that personal information is about you, that means that they know too much about you. In fact, the name is connected to you on multiple sites. Here is a brief list that Google provided, some of them containing the same personal information that can be found on the Twitch stream:
If any of these are NOT profiles you have created, please contact the hosting site immediately!!! Identity theft only gets easier with mass proliferation such as this. The age on at least the last one matches the one on Twitch, which corresponds to the Blizzard account "Pharaphobia" for SC2, and it has a photo of you(?). If I were you, and that photo was indeed of me, I would be very scared. However, it brings us just 1 step closer to finding out who this faker is. They have access to your photos. It must be someone you have shared the photos with.
By the way, "Pharaphobia" is not a real word. According to Google, there is no definition for this word. I'm injecting this here to let you know that there is no mistaking that any imitation is purely intentional - there is such a slim chance that two separate people could come up with the same fake phobia. I am guessing you were already aware of this, as you have many haters who are out to get you, but I just wanted to eliminate any doubt you may have still had.
Anyway, my final piece of evidence is their mimicry of your interests. Look at your posting history:
Do you notice anything suspicious? You are a Destiny follower - posting on subjects pertaining to him. Likewise, Paraphobia posted about Destiny multiple times as well. I know that this is not a large clue, as Destiny surely has many followers, but this simply adds another constraint to the list of possible thieves. Likewise, you are both (or at least they can pretend to be) into SC2 AND BW. Which, again, does not diminish the list greatly, but I'm sure it helps.

Review all of this information carefully and without prejudice. Even someone as close as a brother or parental figure might be responsible for this mischief. Best of luck to you, and may your unique name never be sullied by pretenders and thieves!
