What looks to be the setup for a long and dynamic macro game disappears as the lights go out. Jaedong and Bomber, their screens still operating, are unaware of the chaos just beyond the glass walls of their booths.
Screams fill the audience as loud whispers manifest above. Voices spring up, saying something about the true champions of Blizzcon, and then there is a silence. Then suddenly, the sound of steel entering flesh. A flash of light to the stage, for dramatic appeal, as the fourteen other players, given preferential seating to watch their competitors, scatter. TaeJa is smashed over the head by a champagne bottle, as seventeen streaks of blood appear from various parts of his face. Life no longer has life. MC's guts are spilled over the stage, to the horror of the audience.
Jaedong and Bomber have literally no idea what's going on, because there is soundproofing in these booths.
But they are saved for last, with Bomber accidentally spotting JD's proxy hatch, as an angry blonde man walks away in contempt at the bleeding corpses of fifteen players left brutally murdered. Bomber would survive, as Jaedong's death was technically a forfeit, winning Blizzcon 1-0.
And as the forums of TL fall into disarray, the LR thread shoots up to 3,000 pages, the day's events are posted on both the SC2 and the General forum, and the fastest r/starcraft user receives thousands of months of gold for pointing out that StarCraft II is now literally a dead game.
