So, I've been staring at this for about 10 minutes now....

This guy DQuint is only the second person with the legend card backs I've ever faced (I'm currently Rank 10, as you can see from the screen) Basically, I just drew my whole deck and was about to have lethal (possibly) next turn, and the guy just makes this card float and now his turn won't end. No burning fuse, nothing. I can tell he's still there because he's randomly highlighting things. I'm stubborn as hell, so I'm probably just going to leave it there until he quits, even if that's tomorrow. This really needs to be fixed, though.

Encountered this bug multiple times. It's no cheat.

I guess I just assumed he did it on purpose somehow based on the timing.. So I guess we're both just refusing to leave a broken game at this point, but it's neither of our faults? Bleh.

Happened to me more than I can remember, that's extremely irritating indeed. That's a bug, and from what I can make out your opponent continues playing as if you were afk, but on your side it seems that the game is frozen.
Blizzard should really fix that though, because losing a star for no reason and without explanation is unfair and a source of frustration for most people.

Ran into it last night. After quitting HS and restarting, I got the win plus the 10 gold for a 3rd win. Maybe I waited longer than my opponent before quitting?
EDIT: wondering if it froze for my opponent as well, because I didn't see any action/plays from him.

I finally quit and restarted the game, I ended up taking a loss.

It seems like more of a drop hack than a bug to me because in cases like this where the op clearly has won the game is finally when it decided to happen. I had it happen to me last weekend when I had a good hand against zoo leaving me with 20+ hp left on turn 7 when I dropped ancient of war, I end turn, and I see the player go to play a card and then him highlighting things for a few minutes and then a targeting arrow pointing at me and it stayed that way until I exited the game, I assume he finished me off with a soulfire. I only times I have ever disconnected from this game is when, my isp went out OR I clearly had an upper hand/was going to end the game next turn when suddenly I can't do anything in game. I've never had the "disconnect bug" hit me while I was losing a game.

This guy did that too and was just the turn i was off to kill him. Blizzard need to stop this... REALLY frustrating to lose against some baddie that only can win that way, happened to me a coupple of times and ALLWAYS was the turn before i was about to kill em.
Fuck this guys.

When a card floats in the air forever or your opponent's turn just never seems to end you've lost your connection to the game server. It's possible to still see your opponent highlight things he's looking at or emote at you because "communication" is handled through the bnet communication servers.
It's not a hack, drop, cheat or a trick.
If you disconnect from the game server and realize it quickly enough you can alt+F4 and reconnect before the game is over. If you take too long you'll probably get a loss because your opponent did not disconnect. If you're fortunate, it's possible both of you disconnected. This happens to some people more than others because their route to the game servers is tenuous.

Please don't assume every bug is a cheat.
