Is the Ukraine stopping and arresting every Russia journalist? Cause it doesn't make sense to arrest and falsely accuse just a random one.

LOL. let me try this... i think all of eastern-europe is are corrupt shitholes, it would be ok if the real democracies in western-europe started abducting journos (regardless of nationality) working for eastern-european media because of this fact, but they have no right to detain journos working for western-european media. oh, that's not very nice! What Russian authorities, you call the terrorists in Donbass Russian authorities?

Now you are twisting my point, which was that NOWHERE in the world journalists are being detained for being journalists. Unless we talk about shitholes. Anyway, I am stopping now, we can exchange the povs through PMs if you wish.

i dunno what you're trying to say mari. i've tried reading it a couple of times, but it's not doing anything for me. reddit comment on background of 2 kidnapped journos: These 2 are prominent, well-known reporters. Marat Saichenko have 15 years of experience in journalism, he worked Libya, Syria, Egypt and even on maidan in Kiev. His partner Oleg Sidyakin have been reporting for a half of a year. He among other things covered terror attack in Volgograd and euromaidan. Its and ignorant blatant lie to say that they were separatist fighters.

And spreading propaganda for 15 years does not make them any better nor does it show that they aren't russian terrorists. It also makes perfect sense that some of the "secret medals" putin gave to some journalists were for transporting weapons to the separatist terrorists since doing so greatly helps russia while being a harder to spot tie to russia than directly sending their troops to lead the terrorists.

United states is 46th, Germany 13th, Estonia 11th, Poland 19th (just for comparison's sake). Ukraine doesn't do much better as 127 out of 180. However, during the Yuschenko years (2005-2010), their ranking hovered around 100. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Press_Freedom_Index Just some background information

The reddit comments go "these guys "reported" for 15 years, ukraine is blatantly lying" So yes, those reddidt comments contradict actual news, while having absolutely no proof. In fact, the fact that you would even go to reddit and take comments seriously on the validity of this says basically everything about you and your "objectiveness" and "alternate sources." You can go on believing that ukraine is controlled by CIA and that everyone's out to get the little angel putin or whatever it is you believe in, I'm going back to ignoring you and palezeoman.

you could have just said 'no, they havent', you know. ... osceAlso on 18 May Ukrainian military forces detained Marat Saichenko and Oleg Sidyakin, journalists with Russian online portal LifeNews, and reportedly handed them over to law enforcement authorities. In a letter to Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Mijatović expressed her concern and asked the authorities to release the journalists and thoroughly investigate the case. ...

And you're saying that's more reliable than AFP? You criticize other peoples' sources. But if your sources are just as bad or worse, your criticism is hollow.

EDIT: You claim Kiev government statements are unreliable. And to back up your argument, you quote a reddit commentator. Seems sort of iffy to me.
