So the armed combatants are clearly not Russian special forces/army. A bunch are from Crimea, some are cossacks from Russia, a few locals too. Obviously a few of them have far-right symbolism in their profiles, and swastikas etc. | ||

The guys are too clumsy, undisciplined, and ineffective to be Russian soldiers, or especially Russian special forces, not to mention gear and other things. Not to say there aren't Russian military elements present (as has already been evidenced), but nowhere near the degree that NYT and elsewhere seemed to be claiming. The wanna-be Nazi guys are absolutely ridiculous. Maybe they forget why 8 million of their soldiers died 70 years ago. Also, a lot of these guys profiled seem like they think they're hot shit because they're carrying a rifle around. Seriously, they should get an education/job and do something useful rather than trying to play 1917 Revolution hero >_> | ||

i believe this is his third poor hatchet job so far in the thread, instead of engaging with the actual article/podcast (mark ames and robert parry as well). i wouldn't mind it so much if they had some actual substance, as f.ex robert parry tearing one of the writers of the 'russian soldiers in eastern ukraine' piece from the nyt apart. that was delicious. | ||

Europe societies that Mc pointed out several pages earlier. No education, no proper job, bald heads, size of the weapon = size of the cock. Add to this plenty of spare time and there you go. We have similar low lifes in Poland - "Dresiarz" ( one that wears a tracksuit). They sit in front of blocks, drink beer, shout loudly and bother people passing by. All being in their 20-30s. The only difference is that they measure their dicks with muscules and shininess of their 30yr old cars. | ||

Yeah but the US and Canada don't have the relationship that russia has other nations in the region, keep a prize fighter sharp sorta deal instead of a well maybe that will work. It's sorta like suggesting north korea testing south koreas response times would be cosher, perhaps china and japan/s. korea would be a better example, esp giving russia's current activities. But yeah it's not that alarming sort like we all accept that nations attempt to hack each other/spy on each other. | ||
