So far Inori is winning his challenge, even if he is wrong about the subject.

I want to clarify that 100 mbit is not uncommon in Europe. Costs ~ $25 / month.

See the problem with me testing myself is that I think they're scams and even if I test it myself nobody will believe me anyway.

I think a proper botnet to take home connection down costs $500+ /h, which is not the money any angry kid would spend just to fuck with a streamer, which renders whole Destiny rant void.

What you're saying is literally the equivalent of holocaust-denial.

Dude... just no.

In case you havent noticed, Rich already got a response, even with his profoundly limited resources, in my eyes (and I mean, even subjectively), inori already lost.

And you're not adding anything useful to the thread. Please stop.

@Inori: What is your explanation for the recent attacks if it's not the 20/month botnets?

I don't understand, then why does this kind of activity happen on a daily basis to streamers in every community? If people are rich enough out there to donate hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars to their favorite streamers, I'm sure there's people willing to spend equal amounts to fuck with them.

Most of it is people with bad networks / ISPs / router / router configurations. Claiming its a DDoS is just something the community does now because its become such a common term.

Oh, haha, I don't have any of that, I'm just curious and I find this thread amusing. But I did read about this so called "attacks". So are you saying Destiny was never attacked?

Did I read it wrong? Wasn't the challenge to take Inori network down? Because if it is, and his network is still up, then he is winning the bet.

I'm not talking about this DDoS/DoS stuff, as I hold no knowledge on the subject. All I'm saying is that no one has taken down Inori's network, which was the challenge.

4k posts and you act this entitled? It might not be a serious problem to you, but what about all of the content you consume (and probably adblock simultaneously) and the people who produce it who've been involved in DDoS attacks? This list includes the Live on 3 show, SotG, Day9, me, Stephano, countless other streamers/tournaments...

To have someone come onto a thread and go "sry this problem isn't real ROFL i have experienc"...do you have any fucking idea how aggravating and insulting that is?
