assuming t plays standard = 1rax fe gasless or 1rax fe with a reaper for scout. this leads to situations if proper scouting your gonna notice 2 gas and everything else similar from the protoss side, and 2 gas is very ambigous.if the reaper/scv/random marine scouts the proxy stargate, YOU CANNOT RESPOND BY KILLING THE PYLON powering the stargate, usually the proxy location is at a 3rd expansion and travel time takes like 30seconds just to walk there, and you run the risk of geting intercepted or powered throu your front door.this goes into = 1 chronoboosted oracle rallied straight into your base that comes around the 5-6 mark. this results in you losing 11 scvs if you sit there, or if you pull scvs youll lose about 4. and YOU CANNOT PARK MARINES BY THE MINERAL PATCH if its only 3-4 marines theyll simply kill the marines, puting too many results in them powering throu the frontdoor on the bottom.
turrets at this time is theoritically possible but if you do make turrets youd literally have no units.theyre allowed to literally just nexus right out of this, a counter attack will not work vs a decent protoss with purifier and core + zealots, and if you fail the counter you lose the game.
its a lose lose situation for the terran and if you do survive it you play the game from that point on at a extremely heavy advantage. p is basicly left unchecked and they can safely tech to storm at no risk or do anything else they want, grab more bases, sit on 2base and when you move out they kill you, or play standard.i explained the situation in detail above to the lower league players, if your in the higher leagues you already know this
