Amend the constitution. Easier plan: elect better presidents

How are they blackmailing trump? I'd say the GOP are the ones holding his feet to the fire and daring him to come up with policy that isn't bat shit insane.

Any of our more legally educated friends have insight on that? It's such a bad source (random twitter) I feel stupid asking but at the same time I want something to come from this I'm hoping to believe it. not sure how fast our lawyers will answer; from my understanding, it wouldn't open him up to more lawsuits, so much as allow them to happen sooner. Civil lawsuits wait for the conclusion of any underlying criminal matter before proceeding (barring settlements of course); so with the pardon, the criminal stuff ends and the civil can go ahead. but any action that would be available with the pardon, would've been available eventually without it, either against the sheriff or his estate.

That it surprised me more that this piece of shit was sentenced (or was going to be), than trump pardoning him. Lets not act like that was surprising. If you haven't understood by now that you can't put the tiniest amount of stuff in the category of "shit that trump wouldn't dare", you're beyond help. It's actually, and i'm betting that's statistically provable, safer to assume that he'll go with the straight up retarded and politically/morally despicable choice every time one comes up. edit: as for the people who argue that the media is just biased, and tries to get rid of him: well, you're actually beyond help. If you were a horse, the vet would now reach into the truck bed.

EDIT: next time you spin for Trump and put up some feeble 'b-b-b-b-but Antifa/Lynch/Lewinski" nonsense, ask yourself what you think about state violence in violation of the constitution.
