Time and time again Barron has proved that he’s just a normal 11-year-old kid, despite the fact that his dad is the President of the United States and he lives in the White House. One thing that isn’t normal though is the way he dresses when he joins his parents for a public appearance. Barron was returning to the White House from New Jersey on Sunday and while the president and first lady traveled in their Sunday best, young Barron looked like he was hopping on Air Force One for a trip to the movie theater. (11 Times Barron Trump Proved He’s A Normal 11-Year-Old Kid) Think about how many times your parents forced you to dress up when you were a kid for a special occasion. No matter how hard you resisted, it was inevitable, you weren’t leaving the house until you had your tie tied, your shirt tucked in nice and neat with your hair combed, and a blazer on. That’s not how it goes for the president’s youngest child. Donald Trump and Melania always depart the White House looking their best. The president wore a fine tailored suit and Melania wore an elegant dress just as jaw-dropping as the last. But then Barron steps out in a t-shirt, khaki shorts and some suede loafers. (VIDEO: Barron Trump Snaps A Pic Of Marine One) What am I missing here? Is Barron just better than I ever was at rebelling against my parents? Yeah, I’d put the blazer and tie on and comb my hair and all that, but as soon as my mom turned her head you better believe I was messing my hair up and loosening my tie. Hell I might even undo a couple buttons on my shirt if I was feeling like a real badass. Barron doesn’t have to worry about all that, but he should. His dad is always looking dapper and his mom has become a worldwide fashion icon since becoming first lady. The youngest Trump doesn’t have any responsibilities as the president’s son, but the least he could do is dress the part when he steps out in public. dailycaller.com What reality do the people who write this live in, to think such tripe could have a single positive impact on the world. For the record, I don't recall ever being forced to dress up as a kid... possibly my grandmother's funeral but I don't think I wore a tie or a suit.

IgnE and I agree on something, let us mark this moment by blotting out the sun. Seriously, I am so bummed this thing is not going to pass over me. One of my co-workers is flying to Nevada to watch it, because he is a huge space nerd on a level I can't even being to understand. I sort of envy him right now. Traffic was a nightmare, damn Canadians driving through Washington, after already blotting out our sun (I was able to look directly at it with no glasses and not get the residual circle thing) during the forest fire. It's nice that Europe's got it's own cliven bundy types though. Who are you calling Europe's Cliven Bundy? Any of the ones making a similar argument. I don't think the racial problems we face today are all Republicans fault though in case that wasn't clear. You should know one of the more prominent folks who makes that position is black. You know...Larry Elder? There is truth to the claim that welfare has created more children without fathers in the home. Yes, the Drug War has a role to play here too, but to claim it's entirely the Drug War is not really true. Certainly 75% of black men aren't incarcerated (where, current figures put out of wedlock black children at over 75%). I'm not one to buy that this is such a societal ill (like a conservative would), but to dismiss it entirely seems odd (not the societal ill part, but that Welfare has incentive structures that've led to this situation). But yeah, it's only those racist white guys who put that forward....or Coons like Larry Elder? The hate non-left non-D blacks get from other blacks is frightening to be honest. Ousted White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is gearing up for battle and has set his sights on President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, according to Vanity Fair. Bannon and Kushner have a long history of disagreement, with the two frequently butting heads on the ideological plane, where Bannon's far-right nationalist instincts clashed with Kushner's more moderate views. In the wake of his ouster, Bannon is looking to even the score with West Wing rivals like Kushner, Vanity Fair reported. In keeping with that, Bannon reportedly wants former chief of staff Reince Priebus to testify to special counsel Robert Mueller that Kushner was significantly involved in Trump's decision to fire former FBI director James Comey in May. According to Vanity Fair, Priebus believes Kushner and his wife, Ivanka, convinced Trump to fire Comey during a weekend they spent with the president at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. When Trump returned to the White House on May 8, he informed aides that he was going to fire Comey, and he dismissed the FBI director the next day. www.yahoo.com Go Bannon

And that the whole single parent thing isn't linked to poverty. I'll let the man speak for himself: As for why I don't think that the correlation between a single parent and poverty is as wide as traditional statistics lead us to believe is because the biggest variable (the single parent) is almost never controlled for. That is to say, the characteristics that lead to successful children in later life (e.g. the quality of parenting) is lower generally for those who make the decision to have single-parent births. So, of course you're going to have worse outcomes from that segment of the population (e.g. it's a self-sustaining loop) and higher quality parenting / decision-making which tends to improve with people who make planned decisions and those tend to be the people in two-parent houses (withstanding marriage - merely, 2 parent (and it doesn't matter if it's MM, FF, or MF)). To me, the correlation of single parent to poverty is tenuous and the better correlation is poor parenting to poverty.

Did you just suggest that a link between the number of potential wage earners in a family and the economic situation of the family is tenuous? Follow along - we're talking about the situation of children when being an adult when coming from single parent HH and non-single parent HH. Your little "haha" is irrelevant and not remotely about this conversation. Not whether, there is a correlation between a families economic situation and the # of wage earners (which is an obvious tautology, but w/e). I don't have the where-with-all to get into an argument with you because it's never an honest one.
