maybe its my asianess speaking, but a C+ is basically an F.
anyways, as far as keeping the lights on i think it's more a testament to the sheer size of the ship of state and how hard it is to shift course/ do real damage even with the republicans running around setting shit on fire.
It's the collegiate UPenn passing grade, bro. A nice, friendly C+.

he cannot. the general impression for a long time now is that he has been like that; and his "views" change based on who his advisors are and who spoke to him last; and that as such the power struggles behind the scenes have a large effect on what trump does.
His views do seem to fluctuate heavily, but when I say "It seems to me" or "I feel that", I really can't know for sure, so I'm not going to openly make that declaration. I just can't make sense out of the Steve Bannon fallout any other way than someone persuading Trump to drop Bannon.

I know; I'm just saying that that's what I've been reading from various news sources that analyze things. it's hard to know these things for sure; it's just a fairly common conclusion.
i would say that kelly becoming CoS was probably the main driver - bannon knew that there was a new sheriff in town and that his access/ influence over trump was going to be curtailed and if he stayed he'd either see himself slowly sidelined and eventually kicked out as the fall guy, and he decided to get out on his own terms, sort of. bannon may be pretty reprehensible, but the man is smart enough to know what's coming and how to make the best of it.
it's not entirely clear what bannon's relationship with trump will be going forward i think - there's the "the trump-bannon white house as we knew it is over" crew, the "breitbart goes to war on trump" crew, the "bannon unleashed to wreak havoc on trump's enemies" crew and the "breitbart vs the world, whoever that may be" crew and more besides.
It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House
Barron is the youngest son of Donald Trump and the only child the president shares with Melania Trump. Time and time again Barron has proved that he’s just a normal 11-year-old kid, despite the fact that his dad is the President of the United States and he lives in the White House. One thing that isn’t normal though is the way he dresses when he joins his parents for a public appearance.
Barron was returning to the White House from New Jersey on Sunday and while the president and first lady traveled in their Sunday best, young Barron looked like he was hopping on Air Force One for a trip to the movie theater. (11 Times Barron Trump Proved He’s A Normal 11-Year-Old Kid) Think about how many times your parents forced you to dress up when you were a kid for a special occasion. No matter how hard you resisted, it was inevitable, you weren’t leaving the house until you had your tie tied, your shirt tucked in nice and neat with your hair combed, and a blazer on.
That’s not how it goes for the president’s youngest child.
Donald Trump and Melania always depart the White House looking their best. The president wore a fine tailored suit and Melania wore an elegant dress just as jaw-dropping as the last. But then Barron steps out in a t-shirt, khaki shorts and some suede loafers. (VIDEO: Barron Trump Snaps A Pic Of Marine One)
What am I missing here? Is Barron just better than I ever was at rebelling against my parents? Yeah, I’d put the blazer and tie on and comb my hair and all that, but as soon as my mom turned her head you better believe I was messing my hair up and loosening my tie. Hell I might even undo a couple buttons on my shirt if I was feeling like a real badass.
Barron doesn’t have to worry about all that, but he should. His dad is always looking dapper and his mom has become a worldwide fashion icon since becoming first lady. The youngest Trump doesn’t have any responsibilities as the president’s son, but the least he could do is dress the part when he steps out in public.

So I just registered and got my ticket for Trumps rally Tom. If it happens I'll do all i can to get in. I figure this is a pretty historic moment in time and I want to experience the atmosphere of the rally. Here's to hoping i get in and I don't get attacked by some counter protesters.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The United States began to scale back its visa services in Russia on Monday, drawing an angry reaction from Moscow three weeks after President Vladimir Putin ordered Washington to more than halve its embassy and consular staff.
The move, which will hit Russian business travelers, tourists and students, was the latest in a series of bilateral measures that have driven relations to a new post-Cold War low, thwarting hopes on both sides that they might improve after U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January.
The U.S. Embassy said it was suspending all non-immigrant visa operations across Russia on Wednesday and that when they resumed on Sept. 1, they would be offered "on a greatly reduced scale".
Beginning Monday, it would be cancelling a number of appointments and asking applicants to reschedule.
