If you've ever asked yourself how people wake up in North Korea and think that this is all perfectly normal, this is basically the kind of transition you go through. One day you have a normal administration and the next day you have raving cokeheads running through the halls accusing their allies of sucking their own dicks Jesus America what have you done

Trump is just a more honest manifestation of that side of us.

Because Bannon's stupid trial balloons have always been fake and remain fake. Every last phony populist trial balloon Bannon puts out there are DOA under Paul Ryan and under broader Conservative thinking. His phony populist plays are a way to allow Greens to continue lying to themselves about the nature of Republicans. The 'both sides' dupes fall for this crap and use it as an excuse to say that DJT isn't that bad. This play works because Greens and both-siders employ selective skepticism whereby they instantly trust populist trial balloons by known conmen like Bannon/DJT but somehow discount the very existence of the Democratic party platform / HRC/Obama Platforms and the websites listing their known features. You are totally missing the point on what is going at the White House and the GOP. There is nothing fake about Bannon's populism. The policies that he floats aren't trial balloons. They are things that he wants to see enacted. He is not a conservative republican. Paul Ryan and the rest of establishment, conservative GOP officials are Bannon's chief obstacles. Did you miss Bannon's quote where he called Paul Ryan something along the lines of a "dickless motherfucker grown in a petri dish at the Heritage Foundation?" Every word in that insult carries quite a bit of meaning that belies exactly what the nature of the conflict on the Right is.

I do agree though that Bannon/Jones and the likes are a little bit on the crazy side even for the tea party. "Obama and the democrats gave us this mess and we had to make an attempt to fix it. Now that we got the worst of it out of the way, we can focus on improving it and making it better for not only the wealthy and healthy Americans, but all Americans." - GOP, probably Quite possible, and you know the worst part? GOP voters will swallow that like a Wellington made by ramsay himself. You saw it being called here already by mohzuku or whatever the name was, complaining that the democrats don't come up with anything to replace Obamacare with.
