What exactly are you doing when you deal with major banks? Hope this isn't too invasive a question and feel free to disregard if so.

Just personal/business finance, loans, insurance claims (on which they are listed as a co-claimant), willingness to work with various circumstances. The kind of boring stuff you need to work with banks for. WF has consistently been by far the most reasonable of the three. Chase is the worst piece of shit ever and I would never deal with them if I had a choice in the matter. BoA falls somewhere in the middle there.
Kind of vague, but I prefer not to talk all that much about RL dealings. Nothing personal, but having an internet identity tied to real life is a liability.

Gotcha, I had thought you meant professionally at first. As an auditor or something, not personal stuff.

But WF deserves everything it has coming to it. Even for a bank that sounds remarkably obtuse. The fuck?

Anyone want to make a wild ass guess on whether and what kind of final pre-election surprises that we will see tomorrow?

I dunno but I'll be working hard on very engaging things so I can not focus on it. I feel like I've gotten so tense that there's a 50/50 chance she gets indicted or something T_T That's not reasonable though. I just feel it. But I think its election jitters or something.

They filed the complaint to foreclose on the wrong property once. The part the story leaves out is how they bombarded the property was demand letters for a mortgage that was not on the property. The owners would call BoA, they would stop the foreclosure, but then re-referee it because no one purged the non-preforming mortgage or corrected the issue. There were so many stories about this at the time.
I remember calling my contact of BoA the a couple days after this story came out to talk about a title issue and he told me "There is no joke you can tell me I haven't heard."

Well that sounds... special, to say the least. Wow.

There is nothing special about it. As I said, to big to function. And very little has changed from my understanding.
When I say these banks need to be regulated into the ground, its for everyone's good. There is no reason for them to stop unless the government makes them. Even the worst press possible is just a rounding error. This bullshit with WF currently will just end it record profits for them leading up to discovery of the fake accounts. Then they just wait it out and do it again in a new flavor.

Clinton is slightly more likely to drop something, but the fact that she trotted out Machado again this week suggests that she's running on empty.

I find it hard to believe that if the Hillary + DNC camp were as extensively hacked as it was, that some emails is the full extent of the compromised data. But I don't think they're planning on releasing it before the election. Something like recorded phone calls (if we assume it's the Russians, they definitely have wiretapped plenty of interesting conversations around the world) would be more useful kept in reserve than instantly released.

Well don't expect the candidate with 95+% of Wall St donations and the wife of the guy who repealed Glass-Steagal to do anything positive regarding the big banks.Wake up.

Wake up. Lol. How are you a real person?
