I'm hopeful Trump brings that up (with that being Hillary's demonic powers) at the next debate.

I think if those debates had been Trump + 1 on a stage where they're roughly even in the polls, we would have been treated to the same word salad nonsense we got during the main debates when he was talking half the time. And that might have been enough to let the other person eke out a win, especially since they could have done some opposition research on him instead of each other.

Instead we got Rubio and Cruz arguing over each other's immigration reform bills and Christie babbling about being a state prosecutor while everyone else just kinda waits to get asked a question.

It's not only that. "Moderate" republican candidates had their hand tied. They couldn't expose Trump for what he is, a fraud exploiting the most vile instincts of people because of two reasons: first, because the party has been doing that for years in a more subtle acceptable manner, and also because it would have angered an incredibly radicalized base. And having the tea party nuts against you is a death sentence in the gop today.

That is one of the hilarious contradictions of the Republican Party that made Trump the frontrunner in the first place.

They've been toying with the beast of xenophobia, racism and biggotry for decades while all they care about is redistributing wealth to the richest. Now comes the real thing, the real embarassment: the idiot who yells what they have been suggesting in a sanitized version to appeal to voters they actually despise and work against.

Well they get what they deserve.

They're clearly hoping to disown Trump and going back to business as usual starting in 2020, forgetting why he won in the first place.

It would be hilarious (in a cosmic sort of way) if Trump were to lose now and win the nomination again four years from now.

It is a bit surprising so many republicans are against trump; I'd expect most to go with staying silent, except for a few in very liberal places, where the local republican party itself is rather different.

Personally, I'm thankful to Trump for exposing how quite a few Americans honestly feel. We should use this opportunity to have honest discussions about why they feel the way they do and hopefully convince them to see the good in people different form them

Can also raise dramatically the education level. Trump only exists because many people are abnormally ignorant for a country like the US.

Although part of me is incredibly happy to see the GOP explode in a fireball of stupidity and insanity, the US need a normal and functional right wing party.

The GOP has lost touch with reality long ago, and America is not having a serious discussion on economics, on climate change, on social issue, because one if the sides is held hostage by tea party morons.

I hate to say this, but the sooner the circus ends the better. And i'm not talking about Trump: Cruz, Ryan, Bush and all those hacks needs to just get the fuck out.

When is the last time the GOP has made sense on economics? "Oh we are gonna cuts massively taxes on the 0,1% and dismantle social security and to make up for the missing trillions we'll close unspecifies loophole duuuh. And the economy gonna go great even though every time we did that it was a disaster." That's Ryan, the so called serious one.

And i won't even talk about creationism, climate change denial, gun control and a million other shit. They need to get their shit together, and quick.

The tea party started out as a fairly normal mainly antitax anti establishment then it got coopted by GOP mega donors and super PACs and went full insane on doubling back down on the gop status quo

Donny boy gets Dusted by an actual Billionaire.

Answering a question last night about his $916 million income tax loss carryforward in 1995, Donald Trump stated that "Warren Buffett took a massive deduction." Mr. Trump says he knows more about taxes than any other human. He has not seen my income tax returns. But I am happy to give him the facts.

My 2015 return shows adjusted gross income of $11,563,931. My deductions totaled $5,477,694, of which allowable charitable contributions were $3,469,179. All but $36,037 of the remainder was for state income taxes.

The total charitable contributions I made during the year were $2,858,057,970 of which more than $2.85 billion were not taken as deductions and never will be. Tax law properly limits charitable deductions.

My federal income tax for the year was $1,845,557. Returns for previous years are of a similar nature in respect to contributions, deductions and tax rates.

I have paid federal income tax every year since 1944, when I was 13. (Though, being a slow starter, I owed only $7 in tax that year.) I have copies of all 72 of my returns and none uses a carryforward.

Finally, I have been audited by the IRS multiple times and am currently being audited. I have no problem in releasing my tax information while under audit. Neither would Mr. Trump - at least he would have no legal problem.

I'd have much preferred buffett to run for president; though I would be a bit worried about his age.

Heh one of my Republican aunts mentioned mulling just writing him in. I don't know as much about Buffet but the republicans i know seem to love him and think he could fix things. Like everything Trump pretends to be with none of the awful human being part.

I mean are we still sure that Trump isn't some insanely elaborate false flag operation to destroy the GOP?
