They'd lose every single #MAGA Trumple voter instantly. Now most people with any sense would say good. But that's a lot of votes to flush down the toilet. They're seriously up shit creek either way. Right now they're staring at a lost presidential race if he stays or goes so they gotta decide which poison pill they'd rather swallow.

Ryan uninvted Trump from his event , the gop is going to wind up in full save their majority in the house panic mode.

I'll be honest, some small part of me wanted to see the Don win, just for the laughs, but what he said is actually so not okay. I don't know if he actually did what he said, and unless someone comes forward, we may never know, but even joking so candidly about that stuff is a huge red flag. I joke about a lot of stuff but even I wouldn't say anyhting nearly like that to even my closest friends. Not saying the stuff he said before this was good, but this is the tipping point for me. Fuck Trump

We'll know when/if the Republican Senate moves to approve Garland to the Supreme Court.

Feel like that's pretty accurate. Moreover this is going to tank Donald's already failing brand regardless of the election result. The Trump name is now radioactive waste.

Regarding this, does there ever come a point when it's too late to jump off a sinking ship to save yourself, like I bet a lot of Trump-supporting politicians are considering now?

It's ironic considering Hillary has gotten more hate for being cheated on than Trump has gotten for cheating on his wives. I guess after the hundredth sexist comment or action by Trump, people have had enough. words out of my mouth
Sums me up, too. Newsflash: Donald Trump, who I still don't entirely believe is actually a nominated candidate for President, is a definitively vile person. The word, "vile", was created for Donald Trump. "Vile" doesn't get any simpler or plainer. It doesn't.
If you didn't recognize it months ago, then you're pretty much hopeless.

Man some of the things trump supporters are trying to defend him with are pretty deplorable.

Finding a Trump supporter on november 9th is probably gonna be a really hard thing to do

The longer you wait the worse it looks in the public eye certainly. There's got to be a point of no return. Where that point is? Whether its 2 hours in or 2 months in I'm not certain, and its honestly up to the individual observer. But there does arrive a time where you know someone jumping ship is only doing so for purely selfish reasons.

Honestly, I think there will still be some left (especially sexist men), and those will be the "deplorables" that Hillary was talking about.

Yeah the president ship has all but sailed barring a total fucking catastrophe. But any move the GOP makes going forward is going to piss off a ton of people so they've gotta choose which course of action they want to take to attempt to piss off the least people.

And on that day the percentage of supporters who are deplorable will have gone from 50% to 100%

The gop would have to give up trumps voters though and they cant do that. They are now a core part of there voting base and if they give them up they lose everything. It got them great short term gains but we can now see the long term consequences.

Don’t Laugh at Trump Buying Nancy O’Dell Furniture — It Shows His ‘Move’ Was Premeditated
Here’s what we know so far: In 2005, a few months after getting married for the third time, Donald Trump spoke to Billy Bush about how easy it is to “grab [women] by the p*ssy” and how he had tried to seduce a married woman who rebuffed his advances. We later learned that the woman he was rejected by (and who he subsequently disparaged with talk of her “phony tits”) was Nancy O’Dell, a former host of Access Hollywood, where Bush worked.
Here is exactly what he said about O’Dell:
I did try and f*ck her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, “I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.” I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.
Trump has been taking a beating online for his idea that furniture shopping is a great way to woo a woman, but that should be the least focal aspect of his comments. For one thing, kissing women without their permission is assault, so his admission that he does that should be the main topic of concern here. For another, he admitted she was married but he still “moved on her like a bitch.” For yet another, O’Dell loves furniture. Seriously, she says it in this video:
“I love furniture,” she said in that HGTV clip.
She has her own furniture line, Red Carpet Furniture by Nancy O’Dell, and talks about her love of interior design all the time.
Sure, this means nothing remarkable about O’Dell, who is entitled to love whatever she wants (including, you know, her husband). It reveals, however, that Trump’s attempt to seduce a married woman was one that was very much premeditated. He did a little research, it appears, to figure out what his crush was into.
That adds an unsavory layer to this entire, uh, as our own John Ziegler has put it, “chicken crap salad.” After all, we don’t know exactly when he made the moves on her, but we do know that she and her husband were married in June of 2005 and WaPo described the tape of his confession to Bush as being made “several months” into his marriage to Melania Trump, which took place in January of that year. If she wasn’t married during the furniture outing, he likely was. Moreover, she was likely engaged. Some have even concluded that the audio was taken in the fall, three months into Melania’s pregnancy with Barron Trump.
Ew. No matter how this incident gets spun, if your gut reaction was that Trump’s dig at her “phony tits” sounded like a man who was hurt more deeply than he wanted to let on and whose ego was bruised by an actual crush, not a woman he hit on in passing, you were very likely correct. This is looking less and less like a mistake in the moment and more and more like an attempt to cheat on one (possibly pregnant!) woman with another married woman.
Remember that.

Makes the whole thing even more disgusting, somehow.

Just curious, the majority of you are of the "Fuck her right in the pussy." internet meme generation. Did you guys find that vile and disgusting and turn away, or did you watch it, knowing what it was about, laugh and enjoy it? Well, Donald was just ahead of the curve with grab her right in the pussy years before, the mans a genius. Now get off your high horses.
