^haha, excellent response.

WASHINGTON, Sept 8 (The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits unexpectedly fell last week, pointing to sustained labor market strength even as the pace of job growth is slowing.

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits decreased 4,000 to a seasonally adjusted 259,000 for the week ended Sept.3, the lowest level since mid-July, the Labor Department said on Thursday. Claims for the prior week were unrevised.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast first-time applications for jobless benefits rising to 265,000 in the latest week.

It was the 79th straight week that claims remained below the 300,000 threshold, which is associated with robust labor market conditions. That is the longest stretch since 1970, when the labor market was much smaller.

A Labor Department analyst said there were no special factors influencing last week's claims data. However, claims for Virginia, New Mexico, Alabama and Minnesota, as well as those for Hawaii and Puerto Rico were estimated because Monday's Labor Day holiday had caused delays in the processing of the data.

The estimates are based on historical trends and normally do not deviate much from the actual data, the analyst said.

The four-week moving average of claims, considered a better measure of labor market trends as it irons out week-to-week volatility, fell 1,750 to 261,250 last week.

As the labor market nears full employment, there is probably not much room for further declines in claims. A report on Wednesday showed job openings hit a record high in July, though hiring continued to lag, suggesting a possible skills mismatch.

The very low level of claims together with all-time high job openings suggests the labor market remains healthy, even though employment growth moderated in August after payroll gains averaged 273,000 jobs per month in June and July.

The coughing thing is hilarious. Adam Savage of myth busters had go to into vocal therapy because he was giving to may speeches and talks between shooting the show. He was losing his voice constantly and coughing all the time. Because when you do a lot of speeches and talking, it puts a strain on your body. And these horrible effects are countered by a glass of warm water or tea. But occam's razoring that shit is to hard for some folks.

So there is a conspiracy theory which seems pretty legit that Clinton was using a ear piece during the forum last night. There was a pic with a piece in her ear and email from huma about ear piece in wiki leaks. That should not be allowed in the debates, hope they check that shit.

Also why is she announcing the plans of US ground troops so unequivocally to the entire planet? "We will never put ground troops in Syria".
Question.?

Can we travel back in time to the Bush debates and that weird thing on his back that was likely just a back brace because standing for that long and talking is kind hard?

People have ear pieces in during TV shoots. It’s so the director can talk to them.

NEW YORK — Donald Trump defended his admiration for Russian President Vladimir Putin at a forum here Wednesday focused on national security issues, even suggesting that Putin is more worthy of his praise than President Obama.

“Certainly, in that system, he’s been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader,” Trump said. “We have a divided country.”

The Republican presidential nominee said that an alliance with Russia would help defeat the Islamic State, and when asked to defend some of Putin’s aggressions on the world stage, he asked, “Do you want me to start naming some of the things Obama does at the same time?”

Trump also said he appreciated some of the kind words Putin has had for him. “Well, I think when he calls me brilliant, I think I’ll take the compliment, okay?”

Trump and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton made back-to-back appearances at an event that sounded the starting gun for the final stretch of the presidential race and offered a potential preview of what are expected to be rollicking debates in the weeks to come.

Clinton offered herself as a model of “absolute rock steadiness” on foreign policy, and Trump promised to be a disruptive force for improvement, saying that under Obama even the military’s generals have been “reduced to rubble.” Trump suggested he could replace some of the military brass.

Clinton appeared guarded, even stilted, as she navigated tough questions about her use of a private email server as secretary of state and her vote for the Iraq war in the Senate, but Trump showed no such restraint with a series of controversial statements.

He reaffirmed his view that having men and women serve alongside one another is the root of the military’s sexual-assault problem. He said recent intelligence briefings have convinced him that Clinton and other Obama administration officials did not heed the advice of experts. And he praised Putin, noting among other things the Russian president’s “82 percent approval rating.”

Ahead of Wednesday’s forum, Trump delivered a speech in Philadelphia in which he called for a robust expansion of U.S. military capabilities and an end to budget sequestration on defense spending.

If what Trump considers leadership is what Putin practices, then how could anybody, especially conservatives, defend him being our leader? We've already seen evidence he would mirror his idol. Both have an extreme dislike for press that talks bad about them. One of them has the power to do something about it. Are we foolish enough to empower his less competent mirror here in America?

Trump thinks Russia is a united country? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Unless he means united as in "the opposition party has been systematically forced into subterranian existence with a token party in its stead."

I feel it’s a good time to post this again:

http://www.wired.co.uk/article/how-conspiracy-theories-spread-on-fb

There are a bunch of other studies out there, but the current shape of the internet really allows the proliferation of theories based on little to no creditable evidence.

I like how he cites the Putin's approval rating like that is something that could be accurately measured in Russia and not a product of propaganda.

Just wanted to talk to you about the bold section since the rest is horse shit.

Energy independence is not mutually exclusive to reducing global warming. The aim is to do both. There is no energy replacement for oil as of now that the American people would expect. So what does Obama do? Increase funding on climate change research and alternative energy research while also making gas cheaper for Americans during Bush's toppling of the economy. If you cut the people's spending by making gas cheaper, they can more easily recover from the financial crisis. Now that wasn't the only thing he did--its one of the many compromises he helped wrangle to nickel and dime his way out of the debt. And it was from that hard effort that we've had the longest continual job growth in american history, cheaper gas, a huge reduction in Bush' debt, and are now far enough away from the horrors of the crisis that people are buying houses en mass again.

That's called a compromise. Aiming to reach a goal, and making sacrifices where needed to achieve that goal. Not everything is a moral quandary where you're either 100% all in or 100% all out. That's just stupid and immature thinking. Wait--how old are you? If you're a kid then it would make sense why you'd say such stupid things out loud.
Hark, what baseball through yonder window breaks?

The coughing thing is hilarious. Adam Savage of myth busters had go to into vocal therapy because he was giving to may speeches and talks between shooting the show. He was losing his voice constantly and coughing all the time. Because when you do a lot of speeches and talking, it puts a strain on your body. And these horrible effects are countered by a glass of warm water or tea. But occam's razoring that shit is to hard for some folks.

I still wonder what that horrible green stuff she coughed up was though, did not look healthy lol.

I haven't heard or seen anything about that; but generally speaking, coughing up green stuff is usually mucous, from having a cold.

I'm aware of that, this looks a lot more solid than that though, I mean maybe it was a cough drop or something but it's still pretty weird

This reminds me of the people who claim the moon landing is faked. Combing over her every action and slowing down single frame to see if it was a cough drop or some sort of weird tumor she is spitting out. This is right up there with the birther shit.

She says she is having an allergic reaction but she is probably just sick (a regular cold i guess), it's not the dumb stuff you guys are saying which is something you would treat yourself if you do a lot of speeches. Or do you think that Hillary is so retarded that she is not even able to take care of her voice ? Like, really ?

Razor Occam is hard i guess.

Not like any of this crap is relevant, but it is always kind of funny how for irrelevant crap people have to make up the stupidiest shits because they don't take the time to actually see what is posted but still want to comment on it.

Trump has a stance on the environment, he thinks it was something made up by the Chinese to make American manufacturing less competitive. Never mind that you can't fucking breathe the air in some Chinese cities.

And you can't drink the water in vast swathes of the USA that have been fracked.
Ever watched the doco gasland? The tapwater in many of those homes is flammable! All under the Obama administration.

Not to say this is in any way a good thing (I am against fracking for environmental reasons, although I think the safety could be resolved with good regulations), but in what world would a GOP candidate have advocated regulating the fracking industry?

In fact, Trump's stance on fracking is that we need to get rid of any incentives for solar or wind power, and that would lead to fracking being even more economically viable.

Never said they would, just pointing out how ridiculous it is for Dems to say global warming is such a huge issue when under their watch US oil output has doubled.

Watching Clintons "speech" from Cleveland recently - these coughing episodes are really getting worse.Watch this video for a couple of minutes and see for yourselves guys, how can someone be president in this condition? Struggling to put five words together.

https://youtu.be/siL0yfbzEx0?t=118

Please, someone just watch a couple of minutes of that video and tell me how the fuck she is supposed to debate Trump on national television.

Wait a minute here, I am legitimately curious: do you actually believe the things you're saying, or are you being sarcastic? Someone's voice getting hoarse on the campaign trail (where you give lots of speeches) disqualifies them from running for president? Or is supposed to be indicative of an EXTREMELY CONCERNING MEDICAL CONDITION?

Are you actually being serious? Or am I just not able to detect sarcasm on the internet?

I legit want to know.

Nettles is always being serious when he says this shit. Look at his post history. If he reads it on a conspiracy website he believes it.
