Source policy has been a low bar from StealthBlue on down. It comes down to criticizing the article itself or get off your high horse on sources. Legitimate criticisms include lack of sources or questionable sources, specious reasoning, and uncritical examination. Sure, Breitbart will engage in Trump cheerleading a hefty amount and InfoWars publishes maybe a good article every fifty. HuffPo generates some awful drivel and some Politico articles could be DNC press releases. We're way beyond horrible sources (unless we're including stormfront) and that ship has sailed. I expect everyone to know how to read an article within the context of the source just as most introductory college classes/HS classes teach their students to do. It's better to get both sides from whoever's publishing than rely on your left-wing or right-wing outlet that's your favorite.

"If he wins the November election, the Republican presidential nominee said Monday, he would do “the same thing” as President Barack Obama in prioritizing the removal of criminals residing in the U.S. illegally, but “perhaps with a lot more energy.” “As far as everybody else, we’re going to go through the process, ” he said. “What people don’t know is that Obama got tremendous numbers of people out of the country, Bush the same thing. Lots of people were brought out of the country with the existing laws. Well, I’m going to do the same thing.” http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-08-23/trump-floats-obama-like-deportation-plan-and-fans-don-t-mind

I will abide no Trump supporters who claim they vote for him on some kind of principle. Immigration hardlinerness was Trump's only real policy and now he is out and out saying he will ape Obama. There are no principles left to flip flop on in his con-campaign. WTF is going on here? Did someone within his campaign finally put a gun to his head? If he going to walk it all back again next week (or tomorrow)? Does he think he can undo all the shit he has said for months?

It is a wonder the man knows what day of the week it is, let alone what Obama’s immigration policies. Reminds me of 1. Obama created ISIS 2. No, I meant that literally 3. Haha, does no one in the media understand sarcasm? 4. Well I wasn't entirely sarcastic, only a little

I honestly believe that Trump had no idea what our immigration laws involved and believed all the anti-immigrant hype on FOX and DRUDGEREPORT. E.g., Trump would read the headlines from FOX and DRUDGE but then not even read the article. Consider the state of his campaign. Trump only recently got a professional Republican adviser (Conway). Did Trump ever sound like he knew anything about immigration beyond "immigrants bad"? My hypothesis is that Conway actually explained some of the Obama/Bush/USA immigration law to him and now he is babbling with the few scraps of facts he has.

Say crazy shit, offended everyone, then when the election gets close tone it back and appeal to as many people as possible. I have no idea why this surprises anyone. It surprises me that he's not toning it back, he's trying to appeal to his non-supporters in a way that his supporters despise. The hardcore Republican base won't be very happy with their candidate saying "Obama is doing a good job, I'm gonna do what he does!"

People expected him to do this as soon as he secured the nomination when he could pretend he just did it to get the ballot. He can't do that anymore. The time to pivot has passed. If he tries now the Democrats will bury him in his 'old' statements.

Private lives are exposed as WikiLeaks spills its secrets CAIRO (AP) — WikiLeaks' global crusade to expose government secrets is causing collateral damage to the privacy of hundreds of innocent people, including survivors of sexual abuse, sick children and the mentally ill, The Associated Press has found. In the past year alone, the radical transparency group has published medical files belonging to scores of ordinary citizens while many hundreds more have had sensitive family, financial or identity records posted to the web. In two particularly egregious cases, WikiLeaks named teenage rape victims. In a third case, the site published the name of a Saudi citizen arrested for being gay, an extraordinary move given that homosexuality is punishable by death in the ultraconservative Muslim kingdom. "They published everything: my phone, address, name, details," said a Saudi man who told AP he was bewildered that WikiLeaks had revealed the details of a paternity dispute with a former partner. "If the family of my wife saw this ... Publishing personal stuff like that could destroy people." WikiLeaks' mass publication of personal data is at odds with the site's claim to have championed privacy even as it laid bare the workings of international statecraft, and has drawn criticism from the site's allies. There's pivoting and there's saying things completely at odds with the way you presented one of the main issues you ran on in the primary.

And Wikileaks is not invisible, they can be found by world governments. And the only thing they would have to lean on is good will from the public, which they seem to not care about that much.
