Sexism is prejudice based on someones gender. Its been pretty clear that he wasnt insulting the women in these cases because they were women, he was insulting them because he didnt like them. The point isnt that he isnt an asshole its that at this point there is plenty of evidence that those comments are consistent for everyone regardless of their gender.

Trump gets pissed off -> Trump insults. Thats the only discernible pattern.

Although I agree that Trump attacks everyone the instant he gets a chance, I’ve never been a huge fan of the “he is horrible to everyone, so he isn’t racist/sexist” argument. It is possible that he is both horrible to everyone and be a horrible sexist asshole at the same time.
But you are right that the comments themselves are not what should convince people. It is the interview about his wives and other stories about how he has treated women. There are plenty of those out there.

I disagree. Many of his comments towards women are explicitly anti-woman comments, whereas he doesn't make fun of men for being men.
He's a dick towards plenty of groups, but that just means he's sexist towards women and racist towards Hispanics and bigoted towards Muslims, etc. He's a shitty person in general, true, but he's also made very prejudicial statements as well.

And plenty of people defend the conspiracy theory non-sense posted by some of our alt-right regulars. If anything the fact that he allowed himself to fall to that level is a pretty big indictment, most people just ignored it. I think hes just upset that no one came to save him from the troll (which some people were nice enough to do for that matter). Although I agree that Drumpf attacks everyone the instant he gets a chance, I’ve never been a huge fan of the “he is horrible to everyone, so he isn’t racist/sexist” argument. It is possible that he is both horrible to everyone and be a horrible sexist asshole at the same time. But you are right that the comments themselves are not what should convince people. It is the interview about his wives and other stories about how he has treated women. There are plenty of those out there.
Well I added that caveat in the edit. I myself think he is both racist as sexist. But I wouldn't present those insults as arguments that he is sexist because in isolation those comments are maybe sexist but he has never really pinpointed anyone's gender as being the reason that he insults them. Nor has he belittled anyone else by using women based demeaning terms. Or maybe I didnt pay enough attention.
As for his racism. He's literally claimed that people are bad by virtue of their race or nationality so there isnt much left to discuss there.
