I remember getting almost the same speech in a church back in 2004. It was a bit more tactful, didn't outright call democrats the enemy, but it was something like "Good christians vote GOP". Christians in the South are weird. (I live in KY)

duck dynasty says donald trump will have your back (unless you're black, muslim, latino, gay)

Scott Baio said Trump is doing this for us, not himself. Interesting take.

Well I guess when you get Clint Eastwood to rant at a chair at you can only go down from there...I don't know why people like the Duck Dynasty dude or Scott Biao have any reason to be there as speakers. If your a celebrity no one should give a fuck what you think about politics or social issues.

that pretty much applies to Trump as well but that didn't seem to matter either. I mean even if you'd turn it around and the Duck Dynasty guy would be running for president while Trump endorses him it wouldn't be more ridiculous than it already is

Consider the average american. Consider the average american doesn't even have a college education, take a deep breath, and reflect on it. The electorate, on both sides, is extremely uneducated and extremely uninformed. Many people, most I would say, are not like to even know who McConnell is. People hear familiar ideas from familiar people and it sticks with them because they don't take the time to consider if it is a worthy idea or even coming from a worthy source. It's just straight up sad and a great argument against democracy.

I can't even keep watching this, good lord.

Lucky for us then that most Americans today are probably saying "Who the fuck is Scott Biao?"

This is just the natural evolution towards Kim and Kayne presents the 2020 convention...

Do not mix "Dump Trump" and "Never Trump." The former was based on trying something to stop the trainwreck (or at least to make a statement).
The latter is alive and well.
In the end, it is the cowardly RNC that saves Trump. He would have won all these rules votes, but they are so obsessed with "unity" that they are strong-arming people and it looks even worse.
Mike Lee put it best earlier: this is coercion masquerading as unity. + Show Spoiler + Edit: and many of these rules in the package that should be voted down were empowering to the "establishment," so that was another reason they couldn't have a vote. They needed to keep their precious rules in place.

Is the concept of America itself racist now or was there more context to this?

I wholeheartedly believe a Kayne presidential run would be a whole lot more sane than this. At least the music would be better.
