While it explores this option, a federal judge has postponed Tuesday's hearing that would have been the next step in the battle to get Apple to follow a court order to cooperate.
The FBI says that on Sunday, an "outside party" demonstrated to the FBI a "possible method for unlocking" Syed Rizwan Farook's iPhone.
The government's court filing to delay the hearing adds, "Testing is required to determine whether this is a viable method that will not compromise data on Farook's iPhone. If the method is viable, it should eliminate the need for the assistance from Apple Inc."
The FBI is not asking to dismiss the case, just for time to test the new option. The government has been ordered to file a report on the status of the testing by April 5. Source No shit. Apple told everyone about the glaring security flaw (updates allowed) in thier system. Knowing that there is no reason you can't brute force retroactivly do it with enough computer power and knowledge of associations. you'd be surprised at how long it would take to brute force any half decent encryption. The problem was the FBI wanted Apple's certification so it could send an update to the phone to unlock it, which would have compromised every single Apple product if that certification was ever leaked. The thing is, once you know what is available as an exploit, its no longer truly brute force. Its also possible they found second+ exploits that vastly reduced the size of the problem.

Also the basic wrongness of all his descriptions of reality. The way he talks about our country not being rich anymore, or how other countries are stealing from us, or anything he said relating to military affairs. He keeps making these fact assertions that are all wrong. He sounds like your grandfather rambling if your grandfather got all of his news only from the top 10 headlines on Drudgereport ... but said grandfather never clicked a single one of the links.

I started to get a headache reading Trumps responses in that Washington Post blog and had to stop.
I've seen comedic portrayals of politicians that were more cogent and in charge of the facts than Trump in that interview. He has to make every question about himself and how great he is. He is the textbook definition of a megalomaniac.
There are intelligent people that actually want this guy to be President?

I think intelligent "supporters" of Trump just want to break the Republican party. Carrying Trump's water is just part of the deal.

You don't have to read it to know because there's nothing new. He just repeated what he has been saying in public. To be fair, most of the questions are about him so they should expect that kind of answers
|
They "should expect that kind of answers" from someone who has almost no knowledge of the issues and who's also extremely narcissistic. The fact that he's just as clueless in public is hardly an excuse, and there were plenty of questions which weren't about him.

While it is harsh to say so the news out of Belgium will help Trump today.

Fair enough, but I suspect you cut the other part of that for precisely the reason it indicates.

Only with the ignorant (which sadly is a significant number of people). Nothing Trump has said or done makes him uniquely superior with dealing with ISIS/Islamic terror. In fact, quite the opposite.

Oh god that Washington Post discussion ... When they get to the tiny hands part it hurts so much.

The main attack is that he talks like a buffoon a great deal of the time. Simplistic, easy to understand, and what not. He has nothing in depth to offer. But it doesn't matter. Because people don't trust anyone else's offer. The fact that the entire establishment is against him in the "anti-establishment" year means he's the go to guy. The fact that the media largely ignored Bernie for a long time also strengthens his own base, though they may be less willing to admit it. They certainly rallied around it earlier.
Again, you must remember that the people think all the other options are complete shit. Everyone on GOP? Sold out shills. Every democrat? Sold out shills who'll pander to anyone who will get them into office. Bernie panders like a mofo. Just because he's stayed consistent doesn't mean people don't think he's been a completely ineffectual senator.
So what they say? The people don't care what they say. They care what they feel that candidate represents. Hillary - Same old shit. Muslims aren't the enemy. Institutional racism. White Privilege. Patriarchy. Bernie - Establishment pretending not to be while screwing college kids out of their hard earned shekels. Muslims aren't the enemy. Institutional racism. Patriarchy. White privilege etc.. Hillary & Bernie's Theme Song + Show Spoiler + GOP - Fuck the entire GOP field. Would sell out the entire country for an extra nickle. Trump - Nationalistic, defends borders, upholds the laws, holds people accountable for their own actions and doesn't blame invisible boogeymen where you have to perform serious mental gymnastics to make it work.
Calling out rich corporations doing shady shit is always good though.
In this video, Trump attempts to give a woman a job. What a champion.

Also, Brussels is kinda happening right now and while I don't doubt Hillary would not be surprised if something like today happened. But Trump will actually say he thinks it might happen. Depends on your preferred strategy. Whether you want Hillary who will smile to Islam's face and drop bombs on them. Or Trump who will just say, "yeah.. until you are willing to change your name from Mohammed to Jim or John, you can't enter".

Warming to his theme, he added that Brussels was in a particularly dire state. “You go to Brussels — I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful — it’s like living in a hellhole right now,” Mr. Trump continued. “Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that — you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.” Before long, the hashtag #hellhole was gaining traction on Twitter as Belgians lashed out at Mr. Trump, deploying an arsenal of insults, irony and humor, including images of Belgium’s beloved beer and chocolate.
But yes, I defend Trump a lot here but I'm definitely not blind to the shit coming out of his mouth. Who the fuck says, "I have the best words".

No, not 'nuff said'. How are you going to tell if a Pakistani immigrant is Muslim or not? You needn't be a genius to lie about that. Even if they're not a terrorist, smart immigrants will simply claim they're non-religious to avoid the scrutiny.
