He didn't have to speak long and could get away with vague BS answers (too late did the other guys actually call him on it). Can he get away with the same tactics in general? I feel whoever he faces could easily draw him out and expose the fact he has 0 substance and is basically just meme generating. I think the bigger question is if people would care. Its already painfully obvious he has nothing. Its not hurting him now, why would it hurt him later. If Trump gets nominated or (heaven forbid) elected it will not because he was not attacked enough/wrong, or because he has such great plans. It will be because the voters simply don't care that he is unqualified in every single way.
Trump's plan: http://www.amazon.ca/Crippled-America-Make-Great-Again/dp/1501137964
Let’s dispel with this fiction that Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Trump is using the exact same tactics as Obama with the HOPE signs all over the place but except he takes it to another level.
But if you think that he doesn't have a clear economical plan set up, you are taking the blue pill.

If you listen to recordings of Ronald Reagan, he was a more compassionate, reasonable and productive person than Trump could ever fake being. Trump has been one man his entire life and he has shown no capability of changing in any way. The man threatens to sue anyone who disagrees with him and I doubt that will stop once the general election begins.

Trump is suing all those journalists that defamed/lied about him during his campaign.
And he have the right to do that.
|
And he will lose those lawsuits, like he always has.
|
Yes, he has the right to file meritless lawsuits and has in fact done so numerous times throughout his career.

Wasn't he pro-choice, in favor of gay marriage and single payer healthcare in the 90s?

I think the point would be that Trump will say whatever is convenient for him at the time.

And if someone accuses him of changing his views, he will deny it. If forced to watch video evidence, he will claim it’s misquoted. If someone continues to run it over and over, the will threaten to sue them.
The man lies so much he is incapable of keeping his story straight. Hence why he claimed to want to bang his own daughter and then denied it, even when shown the video tape.

That's only your wishes though.

Actually, the contours of contemporary libel/defamation law almost certainly kill all of Trump's claims, but yes, go on thinking that good king Drumpf will prevail in every arena he enters!

No that is fact. He has lost all of the lawsuits or never brought them. He sued a reported who claimed Trump was far less rich than he claimed and the case was dismissed. Twice. When it comes to lawsuits, Trump is a big looser.

I like how agitated you guys are on this anti Trump thing without providing any proofs.

i bought up reagan to show that american impression of candidates is pretty impressionistic along some well worn tracks, and a good marketer can influence people far away from actual facts of policy or history.
not to mention, how much do people actually care about the brown people when he is able to frame the economic issues in stark, fear inducing terms.

At this point I'm wondering what will hurt the Republican party the most in November: Trump as the nominee, or a brokered convention with all non-Trump delegates being a majority and selecting Rubio. If the latter happens, Trump will probably run as an independent, if only out of spite. Hillary should win easily in both cases, but I wonder how each scenario would impact the chances of Congress Republicans. If McConnell is indeed ready to run against Trump if he is the nominee, that's going to be extremely interesting to see.

to be fair i would bang ivanka.
trump is willing to shift on policy (not hard given his policy has such incredibly shallow roots) but he's the same bombastic jerk he's been for the last few decades.

No, it will never be enough for him. He is the powerful Trump Stumper, where facts and reality don’t matter. Trump means success and reality will not convince him otherwise.

So what's the deal with this Drumpf meme?

They don’t control the CIA, FBI or NSA directly. They confirm the director, but its not like the entire agencies just shut down if they don’t have a director. They can defund them, but that is about it. The courts can only stop them if someone brings a claim.
These are the discussions that I feel are going to come up when it comes down to just Trump. Viewing his behavior in the past and then asking the if he would abuse the power he had for personal grudges. Asking people if they are comfortable taking that risk.
Also, I wish Biden ran. He would have destroyed Trump. Burned him to the ground.
They can also impeach the officers. This is the one potential upside to a Trump Presidency. Because of the fact that Congress has a tiny possibility of working together to stop him, he may end up limiting the office's power, and reversing a tiny bit of the imperial presidency. (McConnell has talked about a plan for Republican members of Congress to run Against Trump if he is the nominee.) Its a very tiny possibility, but it is more likely that with any other President (~40-60% of the Congress will cooperate with any of the other contenders... maybe a bit lower for Cruz) Knowing congress and the political process, it will be a long time before they become that united. McCarthy was a buffoon that ruined lives for a long time before he was stopped. It could be years before they stopped the abuse and how many lives would be ruined before then? There is no upside to him being elected. .
Well McCarthy was Part of Congress.
Its not an issue of Congress will stop the "bad things". Congress MAY be united in stopping someone if they are 1) outside Congress 2) neither party likes Which basically challenges Congress power.
If 2/3 of the Congress is willing to oppose Trump on something he is finished (at least for that thing)
The danger is that Trump "remakes" congress rapidly (ie large numbers of republicans/democrats/independents in Congress get on board with him personally/Trumpism) so that there is enough to stop Congress from resisting him.
But that danger is really a danger of the electorate.. ie can't blame Trump or the establishment... blame the people of America if Trump doesn't just win the Presidency but wins some of Congress too.
