This is the epitome of a lame duck State of the Union speech. It is petulance and condescension on parade. Obama isn't even trying to offer policy goals. He's just lecturing. This speech is his entire presidency in 60 minutes. It encapsulates perfectly the essence of what the past seven years have been.
