About 6.15 million millionaire households are spread across the U.S., according to the report. That means 1 in every 20 households in the U.S. has more than $1 million in investable assets. Those figures don’t include the value of real estate 1 in 20....not counting most people's largest asset and their non-investable assets...

This is not a debate. This is a Q&A forum. I've barely seen one candidate talk to another...what a shit show. It's better than the Republican: "Person A talk to Person B about topic X section III, subsection b." Get Webb and Chafee off the stage, and I think you could open it up a bit more so you can have a decent back and forth. I think Clinton, Sanders, and O'Malley are alright, but there really doesn't seem to be a B team. We go from the A team flanked by the bottom of the barrel on either side. 2008 was a better year for candidates- I guess you had grumpy Gravel and out there Kucinich, but even they seem better than these Webb and Chafee guys. I wouldn't mind an O'Malley VP.

Also that's households not individuals.

Also, net assets is a pretty piss poor metric. Those people don't have access to a true. million dollars at any point in their life.

Well obviously there is a big difference between a typical millionaire and a person who has a million in disposable income...but millionaire/billionaire is typically applied to networth..

Possibly, but I think Sanders has a better demeanor than Gravel- Webb reminds me more of Gravel, always complaining about his time allotted, etc. But I suspect there is a shift in the left, just as much as there is a shift in the right. As much the Occupy movement fizzled out, I rather wonder if Sanders is tapping into that group, that simply hadn't organized to the same extent when Kucinich was imploring in 08.
