The thing is Destiny defends context but generally seeks the most offensive thing to say.
He called a Korean player a "gook" because he got cheesed on ladder, there is no real argument here in regards to context.

There is multiple reasons for defending Destiny, and I never watch his stream just FYI:
1. The guy that made that topic didn't have anything good in mind, all he wanted to do was create a witchhunt (which he succeeded in flawlessly) to hurt Destiny as a person. 2. People like to get offended, when they can't be offended by stuff they feel like they are missing something. 3. No-one forces you to watch Destiny's stream, u don't like his language or behavior? Don't watch his stream. 4. People started directly messaging sponsors about this case, which only hurts the general income of the scene, cause these sponsors will have second thoughts BECAUSE they got complaints, not because Destiny said a bad word a few times on his personal stream. 5. If that guy that made the topic really felt hurt or w/e he would have contacted the Quantic management so it could be handled internally, instead he created a retarded witchunt that only has negative aspects for the entire community.

That's likely because you don't have a serious response. Saying that he's used "nigger" to refer to white people doesn't really add to or explain the context.
He specifically searches for the most offensive thing when he's actually attempting to insult someone, in this case it was "gook" because his opponent was Korean. There isn't much more to this. He uses slurs and offensive language, companies don't want him representing them because of it. Pretty simple.

And oh boy "Offensive Language", I've seen black people that don't move a damn muscle when they hear the word nigger, black people that just don't give 2 shits, and I've seen some that make a huge deal about it, who's right and who's wrong here?

95% of the reason why racism still exists is also because people like to be offended, who fkin cares if some dude on the interwebz calls u a bad word (oh noes). This doesn't even have anything to do with actual racism.
Yeah, right, it has nothing to do with actual racists its the fact that people are offended by someone denying them employment or profiling them based on their race that racism still exists at all.
If you mean the use of "racist" language rather than racism, OK I agree (I've made ethnic jokes with friends all my life without getting into trouble because of a couple nice things called context and intent), but if you mean actual racism (like denying someone employment based on their ethnicity, burning a cross on someones lawn, etc.) than that's ridiculous.

why is niggers offensive? because black people let themselves be offended by it why is x offensive? BECAUSE YOU LET YOURSELF BE OFFENDED BY IT.

All in all it seems this worked out nicely for everyone. Destiny gets to not say sorry, but sees that it is too costly for him to continue. So he stops racial blah blah. TL shows they are the boss by defeaturing him for a month (That is the punishment, not the ban. You hit him in his wallet) Then when he comes back TL can continue profiting on him in a mutual symbiosis, while TL is safe from his behavior (Next time we will defeature you for 90 days, etc) Quantic and Razer both evaded any real drama. The only losers here is the community for possibly damaging sponsor relations and Quantic for being forced to let go of an asset.

I dunno- something tells me the sponsors already know theirs the chance they're sponsoring an eccentric player or two when they back a game or team.

From my perspective it is more the subtle effects that begin to root in society if people are allowed to denigrate an entire race (Just to be clear I really don't care about the Destiny situation this is more to your general point). If it becomes acceptable negative stereotypes begin to form which leads to actual societal implications. It's best to not necessarily be offended per se, but to scold or tell others not to do it out of courtesy. I am probably a prude, but I get personally angered (not offended) when someone makes very stereotypical racist joke.
