I think the rest of the Lakers do a pretty good job of limiting Gasol's points.

Can the Lakers take OKC??? OKC would be a juggernaut if they had a good halfcourt game. They're so talented. I hope someone realizes that Harden could be a superstar and steals him from under their noses [hope]. Can't discount LAL's playoff experience though. I think everyone, including OKC, realizes how good Harden is.

Seriously, there is no one that does that role better really. He has taken a backseat in the post to give more room to Bynum down there this season and no complaints(even through bynums struggles). He really has moved down to the 3rd option on offense. He never really knows how many shots he is going to take b/c he doesn't get plays ran for him really but he is always pretty efficient. Some nights he leads the team in assists, yet other nights in rebounding. He is just a smart player. A few pages ago I wrote some thoughts on what it would take for the Lakers to maybe make it to the Finals, yet I didn't mention Gasol. I realized while writing the post that it is because he is always solid, specially when he is able to play as a PF and now a 3rd option. I'll take him over almost anyone else with that glue-guy-3rd-option role.

He has even taken a few corner 3s the past few weeks. He seems pretty decent at it.

But according to Brown he wants him being more assertive in the post when shots go up or something to that effect I dont know what that actually means other than wanting him to crash boards. Usually hes sitting at the top of the key distributing or running picks and rarely rolling. Its such a waste.

You can bet OKC and SAS will pressure Bynum to make him cough up the ball like he has a couple of times already. Besides, he's one of their better passers. Why wouldn't you want to give him the ball?- you'll either get single coverage or a double and pass out.

But I think the matchups dictate if they will go to Gasol more and if they have an advantage there. All the deferring he has done this season will finally pay off if/when that time comes. Just hasn't been necessary yet really.

Was that really a 5-10 second flop act by Gallinari or was he really injured?.... :O At first I thought he was actually hurt, but that faded quickly as I saw him recover so suddenly once he was up and walked over to his bench (looking a bit sheepish IMO). Plus, he kept pointing at his throat, but I saw nothing in the replays that would suggest he got hit in the throat by Gasol's shoulder. I personally think it was a BS flop. He might have been hurt a bit, but nothing that would lead to him lying on the floor that long writhing in pain.

Pierce sells obvious fouls and he's good at it. He's good at pump fakes, drawing contact, whatever comes with experience. He isn't really known for flopping. He might get carried out on a wheelchair once a decade but that isn't giving Celtics any extra points. He doesn't get to the foul line nearly as often as others of near similar status.
