Wow, that's amazing lol. Big ups to him.
And yeah, all of these pressers have been very very good tonight.

Great game by the Heat. Unbelievable 3pt shooting by them, in particular Mike Miller. Happy for Lebron to finally get his first ring, he definitely earned it many times over.
OKC handled the loss about as well as anyone could have. Much respect to them as well.

Random thought while watching the post-game press conference: No one will ever top Artest in 2010

Didn't get to see any of the game, but glad for Lebron. 26 pts/ 11 reb/ 13 assists. He really can do it all. Hopefully the critics will be silenced for a while

Anyone else see Miller play a couple more possessions without 1 of his shoes? This guy needs to tie those things on tighter lol. Unfortunate that announcers missed it, so funny to see a guy running around with 1 shoe and 1 sock

Scott Brooks let me down in the finals he was great until than. Sitting Westbrook and Durant for 5 min at the end of the 3rd in game 3 (Durant was in foul trouble). and your best defender plays only 9 minutes in a elimination game.

Did he do that again? I remember that when he lost his shoe against new york, threw it to the side and ran to play offense.

Yeah in the middle of a possession I noticed a ref tossing a white thing off the court behind the hoop and I was like wtf is that then I thought I bet it's that goofball Mike Miller's shoe again. Sure enough I looked over and he was hobbling around.

Does he have a TL account :o? That's awesome ^^. And grats to the Heat, they definitely deserved it.

This just in: Skip Bayless and Dan Gilbert on suicide watch

Just a question, what did Brooks say in the last huddle?

"I completely agree with what LeBron just said: "It's about damn time." - Skip
He picked Miami to win, it is his job to criticize Lebron.

He apologized for making bad decisions in the finals than punched Harden in face for not showing up.

Lunged for the beard with some scissors.

Best all around playoff run from a single player that I can remember seeing since Shaq. Lebron earned this win, as did the rest of the Heat. Played out of their mind.

Congrats to the Heat. LeBron played a spectacular game. Also the shooting by Mike Miller was....wow..
|
I am so sad, LeBron has no escaped the Kong Line =(. I mean 3 second place for NBA finals and he won the olympic (with kobe). That scream out Kong Line to me

It's interesting to compare LeBron's play in this year's finals to Dirk's last year. Whose performance was better?
LeBron: 30.5p, 9.7r, 3a (this year) Dirk: 27.7p, 8.1r, 2.5a (last year)
LeBron's a better player: let's not argue that. But who was the more influential player/had the better playoff run?
I'm leaning towards Dirk, but I'm sure I'll get howled down for that. The Mavs had one of the most incredible Playoff runs that I can remember. Dirk was so ridiculously clutch in all the games he played during that.
What's your vote?
|
LeBron and Durant both played better than Dirk did last year. Hell, even a banged up Wade this year could be considered on Dirk's last year level. He really wasn't "Dirk" in the Finals.
|
Come on now... Dirk was the best player on the court in last year's final with Wade a close second. No way Wade played better this year than last.
edit: addendum--do you think Miami had a tougher time guarding Durant or Dirk?
