I find the trolling in this thread to be quite fun!
It's nice that Verdi came out with the truth though. He's should probably update his OP with the "transmorgrified" version posted a bit further down tho'.

That's exactly what I dislike about Incontrol; here he makes fun of this guy just because english isn't his first language (which itself isn't a no-go, it's just uncalled for), but in any recent occasion he was laughed at his reaction was totally thin-skinned and he replied with a bunch of swear words.
And how good is your russian Incontrol? I think Verdi speaks 100 times better english than you russian. He tries hard to speak and to write english. Don't blame him for it. It's unfair!
Didn`t really like Incontrol`s post as he just tries to display superiority, but oh well...
Good that Verdi got his money and nice that he made an apology that seemed sincere. On the other hand I hope that it will not be the only decent move that Verdi will be known for in the esport world so please start to treat your opponents with respect and manner up. There is no need for a reincarnation of the young Naniwa back in his Warcraft days.
not trying to be mean but can you just write it in your language and ask someone to translate that for you? I would like to know what happened to esahara.

E-Sahara explains there was a conflict between one of their players, Satinii, and the manager of the SC2 section, Test. Test abused his position to expel Satinii from the section. After reviewing the actions of both of them, they (read, the owner of E-Sahara) reintegrated Satinii as the manager didn't had the power to take those kind of decisions. Test decided to leave E-Sahara, and he left with his Verdi, a friend of him.
E-Sahara has some really strong words against Verdi, and Test, calling them unprofessional and untrustworthy. They explain they did pay Verdi's salaries, and that they know Verdi received a better offer from another team. Therefore, they think Verdi's announcement was doctored to facilitate his departure from the structure.

The thing is, by making fun of TLers that speak english only as a foreign language, you kind of "exclude" them from the community. Im sure Verdi tried his best here, so why troll this serious topic?
To me, making fun of someones language while he is not a native speaker, is just like making fun of a blind man becaus he cant see. Not sure if you wouldn troll the blind man too though.

There is nothing wrong with jokes, but if the extent of your humor is mocking other people for their poor English or their "funny" accents, maybe you should spend more time working on your jokes?

I'll translate directly in english eSahara's statement :
The whole eSahara staff deeply thanks Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov for the work he put through for our organisation and the time he took to manage our SC2 team.
Still, it'd be good to explain why we came to such lengths today. Thus we would like to remind that a few weeks ago, problems happened between Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov and some of our players. Juha-Matti "Satiini" Backström got the short end of the stick from those a few days ago, since he was fired by Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov without any obvious reason.
After investigating, we found out Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov abused his powers as a manager in order to solve a personal problem with Juha-Matti "Satiini" Backström, to the detriment of eSahara's interests.
Such conduct being unacceptable, the board of eSahara decided to take back Juha-Matti "Satiini" Backström in the team on friday, march 3rd.
Following this regrettable incident, Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov, unhappy that his authority had been overrun/compromised, released a statement announcing his departure from the team, without informing us beforehand.
We learned in this statement the departure of Artem "Verdi" Avramenko, and to this day we still don't know why he left, Artem "Verdi" Avramenko having been provided with all the advantages our organization offered, as have all the players under our flag. The reason he gave was the non-payment of his salary, while we never had any problems with paying the wages of Artem "Verdi" Avramenko, who has been in eSahara for the last 6 months, as well as our 15 other players, may we add.
The reason for Verdi's departure are still blurry. We do know he has received a better offer from another team. We were thus thinking he used the "salary" reason to join his new team. We were eager to see his potential develop in eSahara, letting him rejoin the team twice, while he had left us in the same way, without any reasons we found worthy.
eSahara's stance is this very clear. We find it unacceptable that Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov and Artem "Verdi" Avramenko published statements regarding their departure of the team, without having warned anyone in eSahara's management. This damaged our public image, that's why we decided to withhold Verdi's salary until further notice.
This further proves the lack of professionnalism show by Vlad "TeSt" Bulatov and Artem "Verdi" Avramenko. They didn't deserve our investment and trust.
eSahara provides their players with logistics and managing on a professionnal level to allow them to fulfill high objectives. This statement shook greatly our whole team, since no player or staff member ever complained of the conditions we provided them with.

There is a difference between racism and a joke. Maybe you found it funny, maybe you didn't.
Still people use the ''r'' word way to much. Stereotype jokes aren't racist, i know alot of you think that's it's the first step towards acceptance of racism but i disagree. Is it also an insult to White-Ra when we go around saying Special tektiks?! Hell no, who doesn't love the guy.

Good that Verdi made a statement, a pity that there had to be so much drama before this happened. Both party's made mistakes (eSahara not forcing contracts apparently, not paying either. Verdi/Test for leaving the team all of a sudden and doing other bad things (didn't read the whole publication by eSahara).
I hope you get better soon Verdi

Actually this thread is quite interesting. If you examine the posts that got warned, temp and perm banned, apparently, the following triggers are followed by the mods:
Get you warned: mocking another person with minimal vulgarity
Get you temp banned: any post with EGBurgerman. (where did this come from I wonder)
Get you perm banned: homosexual slurs offensive remarks about Incontrol's recent weakness in broadcasted matches attached with vulgarities remarks on Incontrol's personal attributes
and yet, one post mentioned the n-word and slipped through the mod's oversight.

Stay classy EG. What a nice community person you have in burgerman.
Incontrol is a really "like him or hate him" kind of guy (with more of the attention appearing to be on the 'hate him' side of things); there really is no middle-ground. So of course there are going to be mixed responses here (along with a lot of angry people).
Although taking a shot at someones poor english may have been intended as a joke, I don't think it is very appropriate. (Especially given that fact that the guy is english second language).. I mean if english was his first language and he was that bad, I could certainly see making a joke about it.

Interesting.
Nestea called him BurgerMan. If Boxer can rename Idra into Grack, then Nestea can rename iNcontroL into BurgerMan. I don't think it should be a bannable offense to call him that considering that it's an inside joke from State of the Game/Nestea.
What I don't understand is that everyone is getting worked up about the screwed up English itself rather than the post which really didn't make too much sense really.
If anything, I expected people to say "Oh, what a hero. Looking for attention." but I'm reading all this and people are complaining about the butchered English. Backwards world.

He tried his best at English, and it wasn't that great, so what? Not everyone in this global community has great English.
Glad to see some of this eSahara "drama" get cleared up though, it had me pretty puzzled.
man some people cant take a joke
lol yea nice joke, as you can see people don't like those kind of jokes and if you fail to see why I'm sorry.
nope not really cant see why people just need a chill pill sometimes
The high horse that people on temliquid and reddit(lumping it together because its the same thing) is laughable. NOBODY gets offended this easily... if people cant take a joke its THEIR FAULT not the person who told the joke. grow up and grow a backbone people. What the hell ever happened to sticks and stones..
Being offended isnt that bad... nothing happens to you when u are offended. you aren't physically hurt bu being offended. Your just mad for like a day BIG DEAL. suck it up and take a joke
Alright I think we all acknowledge that the original post was done in poor English and that is understandable. In a world as diverse as this, there will be many people trying to get across a message in a language they are not fully capable of using (me talking to my in-laws in broken spanish, they smile, and I know my spanish is terrible but they are thankful for the effort). If we continue to make a mockery of the OP then I think we divide the lines between the korean scene and the foreign scene. I mean why would the Koreans want to play with us competitively if all we did was make fun of them while they don't understand.
What I'm trying to get at is, that we should siphon the meaning from the message, but not judge them based on the form of the message because of the their level of understanding of a language. If anything, we should change the message to be better suited for a english audience (like when a translator translates something from Korean to English for us).
iNcontroL in your 'A Decent Proposal' you called us to bond together as a community, please don't forget the courage you instilled in all of us.
maybe next time he should do the same kind of joke when WhiteRa announces his next partnership with a new sponsor and see how people react then. lets face it, he just made this comment because its Verdi lol personally I don't like jokes like this even if they are not serious. Pretty sure Verdi didn't find it funny aswell. I think all those EGBurgerman jokes are even worse though...

you realize this community is split between the people who find any possible reason to be upset and the people who enjoy the stuff that people like incontrol does for us. why can't you just enjoy it? remember that the competitive scene in starcraft 2 is nothing without the players or the fans. isnt this what teamliquid is all about? people just need to chill the fuck out because its really no fuckin big deal. i dont get why everyone is trying to make it look like they are smarter than other people just for the sake of doing it.

Interesting.
Nestea called him BurgerMan. If Boxer can rename Idra into Grack, then Nestea can rename iNcontroL into BurgerMan. I don't think it should be a bannable offense to call him that considering that it's an inside joke from State of the Game/Nestea.

Different people have different opinions. You have what is called an "opinion", or "stance" on a particular matter. Not everyone will share your point of view. Please stop with these dumb posts and making us americans look ignorant just because you lack the understanding of what an opinion is.
To the vast majority of people worldwide on here, I am already perceived as dumb just because of the country stated above all my posts. I don't need you to make that stereotype worse.

I wasn't trying to state my intelligence over anyone. I acknowledge that iNcontroL was making a joke but I think it was in bad taste aimed at the level of his language. Think of in similar context of people making fun of iNcontroL's level of play.
I'm not condemning iNcontroL he is one of the biggest guys here, and is doing amazing things leading the but for people to listen to his voice, he has to make sure his history isn't stained with silly things such as this.

And people really need to be more relaxed and chill out.
That's that, he called out eSahara in public about money problem and now that they're solved he apologizes for that. Pretty manner I must say. Hey, Incontrol, what's your 2nd language ?

It's a sad day when you have to add a sub-note so people didn't get even more butt-hurt.
This what I see everytime someone of note makes a joke comment or topic:
[Incontrol makes a joke during a super serious situation] Poster #1: Outrageous! How dare he say such blasphemy! I've got to do something! Poster #2: Bob, there's nothing you can do. Poster #1: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
