I don't understand his decision of staying in Korea; he never got noticed in EU/NA, doesn't speak a single korean word, hangs out with foreigners all the time and all the 'practice' he gets is from ladder. I seriously don't see how somebody would expect to improve like that unless it's the air or water in Korea that makes their players so good, which I don't think is the case. I'm staying in Korea for the rest of my career and I'm the one who decided to leave. LgN was quite surprised today. Always so classy. Everyone would appreciate being "surprised" with an announcement of an employee quitting. Parading the fact that he surprised his team by leaving. If I were an organization, I'd love to work with someone like that! We talked it over and tried to make it work don't worry. I didn't leave in a heartbeat, it was something I've been debating with myself for about a week.
thank god, i was really worried

desRow has a lot of dedication to the game and even to the community (that is hating on him most of the time-.-)
*Even if you would fail completely -there will be gamers outside that totally respect the approach.

I do want to state that korean ladder is actually good practice lol. You will improve from it if you are practicing. I don't think what you understand is the korean ladder is not only way superior to EU/NA but if you get practice partners on there it becomes even better. Many pro's have said this btw that on KR you have to try your hardest every game because the players are much better.

I'm not a desrow fan by any means but I respect his passion and dedication to being the best player he can be. I hope he finds a new team soon. Being teamless in Korea is a tough situation.

Quit being so damn negative without any legitimate reason.

I bet he's staying for the women. Watch out IU, desrow's coming for you

[...]I respect his passion and dedication to being the best player he can be agreed.
...to much pathetic hate that may come from kids that envy the strenght needed to do decisions like he did.
(I am still interested in the circumstances the "fork" was in the way of further cooperation ;D)

Well, his game has improved massively since he moved to Korea. Say anything you want but he has the dedication to put himself out there and try to make a name for himself, so let him do that. If he doesn't get any results then why does it bother so many people? He's paying for the trip as well, it isn't like he is having someone pay for him.
Good luck to you.

GL desRow.

From your posts you came off as extremely arrogant and smug with quipping someone and attempting to essentially tell someone to "fuck off, you're not good enough to do anything". I disagree with this mentality, and so does most of the world. Everyone can progress.
Your points are your opinion, but the improve the way you say it. Being civil goes a long way.

You could have just wished him good luck or not said anything. Excuse him for wanting to stay in Korea to at least try to improve his game. If it hurts you so much that he is staying Korea, then I suggest you find some way to plunge the stick from your ass rather than berate somebody on the forums who probably couldn't give two shits about you.
Good luck, desRow.

The thing is, I have played desrow twice, beat him silly twice and he bm'ed me once in the game. I dont care for the guy, and this is just me, a person who works 9-5 and doesnt consider myself close to a "good" player. Im stating my opinion, I thought this was allowed on message boards?
I know TL is really strict but i dont think i shouldnt be able to say facts such as "he hasnt accomplished anything" since its a fact.
|
I was worried about DesRow leaving but it seems he left on his own choice so he obviously has a team lined up or some plan ahead so no reason to really worry about whats going to happen to him.
Good luck in the future, it takes a lot of passion and determination to do what you did going to Korea.
Haters you really need to chill a bit there is no reason at all to attack someone who didn't even do anything to deserve it...
Edit: Okay I was wrong.

Lol so many Desrow haters mad cause he's staying in Korea, and they ignore the fact that he's rank 10 masters in KR server and has improved probably 100% since he's been in Korea. Keep living your dream dude, Much love.
