Man I hope you are right. Riot really needs to do tournaments for the pro scene in the off season, or allow someone else to make a few.

Garena is starting a new pro league for Taiwan & Hong Kong, qualifiers start next week with teams like TPA, TPS, ahq, HKA, etc. (Gamania is already qualified due to winning the regionals).
It's called LoL Nova League and the top 7 from the qualifier, which is a round robing with 12 teams, will join Gamania for the Winter Season. Also the top 3 qualify for GPL Winter so teams can participate in both competitions it seems.

According to the Inven team, Samsung Progaming team has acquired the now-former MVP Ozone and MVP Blue teams.
Now the Progaming team (across all games) will now be known as the Samsung Galaxy Pro-Game Team
The breakdown of the subteams are as follows:
SC2: The same team as before, but will now be called Samsung Galaxy Khan
LoL: 1. MVP Ozone is now Samsung Galaxy Ozone and will first represent Samsung at the World Championships 2. MVP Blue's new name is yet undecided and will be announced at a later date before the Winter Season.
More details will come out on the official news report later.

Well, it's been rumored for a while and finally happened. I'm curious as to how much they paid for the teams. Also, did the coaches come with the League squads?

So MVP SC2 joins Samsung Khan and they're now Samsung Galaxy Khan?

But there's nothing in the report about Samsung acquiring the SC2 team as well.
Only parts related to sc2 are the name change and the promotion of the original Khan SC2 coaching staff to coaches for the Esports club as a whole.

Any word on whether it's just the players who were acquired or the coaching staff too?
EDIT: Ah, same question was asked earlier. Still, it would be a shame if the players didn't get to keep working with the old staff, they seemed to be doing a sterling job. If they remained with MVP though, I can only imagine that MVP will have another crack at re-acquiring/building up another League team(s).

Samsung Blue will be rebuilded for the Winter Season. Easyhoon and Flahm are not on Samsung Blue anymore. Samsung Blue is looking for a new mid, top and supporter. The roster will be 7 players with 2 players on the bench.
Easyhoon and Flahm will join a new team apparently.

He has become a recurring topic amongst Korean fans (myself included), who all love to waste time in taking part in lengthy debates over whether Dosoo should be allowed to become a professional or not. It's not just about the hate he receives, I think his presence in the scene has transcended that.

Same kid.

Honestly both Dosoo and Apdo seem to have really bad attitudes and egos based on their Afrreca streams. Then again, Flame was a huge douche when he was an amateur too.
