Just because of last seasons placement I assume, which tells us almost nothing. After all we are looking at a Gambit roster that might be changed on 3/5 positions. Arguably their 3 weakest positions, which might make them a top contender in EU LCS. My point was trying to call somebody out on knowing something on the internet when it's easily googlable is silly. Anyway, back to the topic. You don't just wipe 3 players from a roster during the offseason and be good. How many teams are around for them to scrim right now? Challenger teams? Let's look at a team that did something similar, Alliance. They were left with Froggen/Wick'd and it took them about half a split to even be competitive. It wasn't until the Summer when they could actually contend. Now look at the Gambit holdovers. Do Diamond/Edward/niQ bring the same clout as Froggen/Wick'd? No. I've seen everybody them play competitively recently and I've seen Kubon in ameture league. Never really impressed with any of them. Yet I'm supposed to believe the lineup is supposed to be a contender in LCS? I'm supposed to care about them when they've been a 5 man for a little over 3 months? Don't really see an issue with IEM making Wolves an option over Gambit. Those teams are at best a coinflip.

Nvm the other stuff as I see this will lead to nothing, but this here has to be clarified. It is obvious that IEM didnt chose anything here. They offered all teams to participate in the vote, but some chose not to go to IEM. Unfinished rosters likely being the reason. edit: For Gambit visas might also play a role. If you actually look at how all teams have had roster changes,it is the off season, some teams are probably not going to take it seriously and we are playing on a patch that has seen 0 competetive play we could easily see a team that nobody expects to do well to win it.

CW still have Youngbuck, so they're shit no matter what, and with Western world skills of learning champions, i'd say that Orianna bans are going to hurt them a lot. About IEM - i'd wish that UoL get there, get demolished in groups by Brazil, then people will stop talking about toplaner like he's random God which was granted to us, mortals. So dade isn't going to Snake most likely, so King.dade inc. Also, as confirmation how did Snake get CRE sponsorship.

Damn. Dexter back to NA? Anyone has some reasonable speculation where to if true? On October 30 2014 09:14 AlterKot wrote: Actually would be cool if UOL get voted in, I'd really like to see POE and Visic against legit competition. SK is probably out of question because no one realises that Sven did nothing wrong, and I'd rather not see SHC with replacements. I'd actually prefer C9 over Curse because the more C9 the better and Curse should be go-karting with Piglet, not going to tournaments. SHC has also the problem that Mithy should still be banned for IEM. So really the 4 EU choices dont look too good atm. Overall I would probably like to see SK most though. Besides both fines are laughably low and more symbolic than anything else.

And Nick Allen can't be bothered to explain everything :D And if dexter goes to NA, then i won't be surprised if suddenly CLG didn't find proper replacement. C9 are ok, TSM have Santorin, LMQ? Curse are ok, Dignitas are ok, CLG? EG are ok it seems, T8 are ok, coL are ok, Coast have Impaler now. Going to LMQ seems random nowdays, considering that they didn't find ad/top either, so i'd say that possibility of him in CLG is bigger. Quest nutrition partners with team curse. Liquid sure knows how to get the mileage out of a team that has only ever won one thing which was disallowed by MLG

Curse Academy - Changed two members, apparently Keane having visa issues. They were spamming ranked 5s last night with Bigfatlp. Coast - Changed three members, also spamming fives CoL - Changed three members, also spamming fives. XDG - Disbanded. Denial - Disbanded. LoLPro - Qualified team disbanded. I don't get why CA, Coast and CoL would all be spamming fives unless they had to requalify, playing fives is a huge waste of time.
