EPTNow trypophobia has been in the news a lot do to the swarm host model. I happen to have trypophobia and play zerg so this effects me quite a bit. But then again its as Geoff said SotG last night, burrowing and unburrowing, used to, cause me to itch. Of course it came down to the decision to get over it or stop playing.I chose starcraft! Sometimes though seeing moving burrowed roachs makes me sick. Here is an example of something that effects my trypophobia:

You should be informed however that trypophobia is not an official phobia because it is not debilitating. For example if I see a lotus pod I will get itchy but I will be able move on to my tasks for the day while scratching. Where as someone with a phobia of dogs would break down if one touched them. In the end I think the fear comes from rash and diseases and from not wanting to look like this (warning: don't at this if you have trypophobia-for real I won't sleep tonight because of them)

One of my earliest memorys is is being in kindergarten and seeing enlarged pores on my hand and then flipping out.
I love Starcraft more than I love not being itchy! So if you have it and your struggling, don't worry you can do it!
