I have to admit, Husky has become a top-tier caster in terms of energy and game awareness. K9 has turned out to be an amazing duo. I still wouldn't put them above the Casting Archon, but they're up there.

Overall I prefered tastosis they are just an awesome casting DUO and nothing comes close to them, Day9 is an amazing guy but i'm not sure which caster i'd put with him to make it a better duo than tastosis

One thing I would like though is if all important matches finals/semis etc, were cast by both sets of casters rather than just 1 on both streams,

I kinda imagine him like a washed up drunk tho. Made it big and partied all day too long.
Now he just chants "timing attack" in his raspy voice burned by the years of smoking in underground korean bars, and makes it newb friendly by telling us we can destroy the rocks to get to the xel'naga tower.
I liked listening to Sean and Husky better... Nick will always be my most favorite beautiful baller tho.

I think Tasteless and Artosis are the best casting combo out there and probably will be for a very long time. No one is even close to them right now.

I really like Day9 as an analytical caster like for example in his daily show, but as for casting actual tournaments I dont really think he's doing a good job. He gets excited way too easily over small things that aren't really that special, he screams and yells all the fucking time for absolutely no reason and his interaction with his co caster is most of the times non existent.

Tastosis have always been my favorite archon, while Day9 was my favorite solo caster(after Chill had to leave in TSL, he was amazing solo). But it seems like Sean finally has a very good 2nd to make an archon. No offence to Wheat, whom I love, but I don't think he flowed as well with Day.

IMO I found husky and day9 the more entertaining duo last weekend and this is coming from a tastosis fan who didn't really think day9 and husky would do well. Husky and day9 did surprisingly well casting while I found tastosis to be a bit lackluster (tasteless sounded like he caught a cold the morning of championship sunday). I still love tastosis though.

Do we always have to get into this dumb CASTER VS THIS CASTER debate?

It ALWAYS turns into fanboy wars. They're both awesome, and they both have their own ways of presenting the game of SCII, just leave it at that!

Husky have stepped up his casting a lot. It's awesome to see Day9 do more analazyz while Husky is dealing with the play-by-play. They work very well together. Also by having Husky there, MLG will attract the husky fanbase wich is awesome. Husky is also like Totalbiscuit, wich is more appealing to the mainstream audience

Husky and Day9 was great to listen to. They let their co-caster speak their mind without interrupting and they worked really well together.

I absolutely love both Husky and Day9, but the casting archon really blows pretty much everything else out of the water.

I feel like Artosis is by far the best analytical commentator at the moment, since he is really up to date with Korean strategies. For me, having watched a lot of SC2, and now not playing it very much, it's more interesting to focus on the pro players and their crazy strategies than to focus on bits and bobs that would help me improve (which Day9 loves focusing on).

Also, Tasteless is too handsome to not love, and I love the jokes they have with each other.

Individually, Husky and Day9 are better though

Artosis + JP was really good!

Most stuff has already been said but Artosis is the foundation for the Tastosis combination and alot of other casters would work well there.
Husky did a great job this weekend but there was alot of really irritating noises in that stream (most of them from day[9]). I think day[9] needs someone that's more calm than Husky, Apollo worked pretty well during Dreamhack Summer as co-caster for him.

I have to say that I've grown to dislike Sean's "casting persona". He's just not himself at all (the way you see him on dailies or sotg or an interview with him). It's like he when he casts, he has this image of a "perfect caster" that he puts on, and it really rubs me the wrong way personally.

It's the exact opposite of Tasteless and Artosis (and Wolf) who always seem to be chilled in the "yeah, whatever" way, say whatever they feel like saying, pop whatever stupid joke crosses their mind, and it usually comes out well and is easy to listen to.

There's a lot of people who can easily be disillusioned by what Sean says, which can come off as techno mumbo jumbo babble blloooooo bllaaaaahhh if you don't know the game.

I don't know why there has to be his sort of competition. If you enjoyed one over the other then that's great for you. With that said, I gave Mike and Sean plenty of compliments already for the fact they continue to get better with each other from the last MLG. I think that should suffice.

wooow i like Day9 in combination with DjWheat more but Husky doin his best so it´s ok, but they dont get a shot vs. Tasteless haha...
