You have to look at the implied severity of the situation. Several people state it is going to be a bombshell that is some good news and some bad. Not everyone is going to like it. Trading a player or acquiring a player doesn’t seem to fit the equation. So what if a company acquires or trades a player? Will that have some repercussion, sure, but is it a “bombshell?” No...
It would have to be something more drastic. Like several players being traded or the more likely situation an entire team being acquired. Something like complexity, but on a little bigger scale. Maybe between team liquid and EG. For example, and this is totally fictional to illustrate my point. If say Team Liquid was acquired by EG? That would be a bombshell that would rock the internet that not everyone would like. They also said that some of it you will like some of it you won’t..so let’s take it a step further. EG acquires Team Liquid to create a super team that would be able to pool their money and compete competitively with the Koreans. You hate the fact that Liquid is being acquired, because they have such a long standing presence in the SC2 community, but at the same time you do like it, because it’s a new improved revamp super team that will be able to actually compete with the Koreans… That to me would fit the bill of being a “bombshell that is going to rock the community.”
Now this is probably not the case, because it doesn't coincide with the clues...but it's got to be either several people are being acquired or possibly an entire team.
