Hello, some of you may know me, most may not- I am Alex aka Jedigamer/Syndicate. I'm not famous for tourneys, I've never won anything big, in fact I tend to choke anytime I reach a finals. I'm just a regular above average T/P GM player who practices on NA/Europe. I'd like to make 2 things clear before you read any further, if you choose not to read this statement.
1) I have a hot-head and have acted like an huge jerk
2) Although I am flawed -I truly am not a real bad person IRL, and love contributing and helping people out
Basically since I was younger through now I've had a huge reputation for for being a very bad mannered player. Rightfully so, as I have a terrible temper and when it tends to strike I lose all respect and just rage. I've been a total ass to countless people, and a really nice mentor to a lot of others. Again, rightfully so- I am obviously more known for playing the total asshole card. Nowadays sometimes I find myself BMing regularly, and just to get myself into the game (If I BM I have more of a reason to win, really immature), or just because people expect no different from me.
I'd like to apologize to everyone from TL.net , Bnet, Tourneys, etc that I have bad mannered. If I bad mannered you first, its almost a guarantee you didn't deserve it. It is clear that just by making an apology things are not right . I am okay with that, and willing to work hard to try to change it. I don't expect everyone to be okay with me or welcome me in any way, again I've been such a jerk.
My actions and reputation have cost me a lot of things- and as I am maturing (sadly still) I realize I've taken the wrong road can't keep walking it. It cost me partially a lot of my students and coaching potential on larger sites, it indirectly cost me a very loyal stream that supported me despite using some cheeses and playing long drawn out macro games on ladder. (I rarely cheese anymore, unless im exhausted but can't stop playing). I ended up losing my stream due to a bit of false slandering that banked on my terrible reputation, although it is not the time or place to discuss as the time has passed.
For a while I was helping a lot of people out, mostly for free, to get practice coaching. I quickly found out that I love teaching SC2 and how to make gains and break down the game for oneself (like teaching how to READ replays, not just watching them). It was never about the money with my coaching, I actually found myself giving people extra hours and such because I liked watching people improve at a new game that was so rewarding, and knowing that I helped them get there .
Anyhow, this isn't about my love of the game or my coaching or stream, it is about me making changes as a person permanently . It won't be easy, but I'm going to make them, 100%.
Here is the first couple changes I am going to make, that the community can hold me accountable to :
1) I am going to help by posting informed information in the strategy section. I have a lot to offer new and older players, as I play the game, coach it, and study it. I currently understand the game a little better than I can play it.
2) The bad manner on ladders/bnets is over. I am no longer going to make my problem my opponents, because it isn't his fault I can't focus, or my stream is lagging, or my internet is crap. I will either GG and leave or leave. This means as of Sunday afternoon, its done, gone, zip, zero.
3) I am going to post a couple guides to builds I am using on ladder, to help players who are bored of using bio vs Z and P, but don''t want to commit to a passive style.
It won't be easy, but hopefully by making this post it will be the extra thing that tilts me onto the new leaf. I truly like helping people out, and don't want to be "That jerk" when that isn't who I actually am.

I have heard this a lot from friends and people who have come in and out of my team over the years. Unfortunately it usually doesn't last very long, as some one like this usually unsuccessful in changing their ways. That being said it's always great to see some one stepping up and admitting they've messed up, I hope you keep up with it.

You do indeed have quite a reputation for being an asshole... but if you really do change your ways and just focus on improving I believe people can quickly forget about the past. Keep it up and make people remember you for how good of a player you are, not for what fucked up thing you said to them.

Jedi has given many people from our team (including myself) lessons and is a phenomenal teacher. Really has the ability to explain in depth strategies and game knowledge well. We personally have never really experienced his BM, but I have definitely heard about it. I know that he deserves a second chance and am glad the community has been so open to this so far!

@Nizzy I never 'spammed' the channel until Warden trolled my stream passive aggressively for days on end while still in recruitment process Keep in mind this was before I went into the channel to talk some trash ;p - and I found out that although management had said Warden was neutral, they acted super surprised when I mentioned his bias towards me. I even made an apology to him on bnet and he pretended to accept it, silly me again. They then asked for screenshots which they then denied were true so it was a bit of a circle problem. The professional thing to do would be say "your decent but we don't want you on the team". Warden kept coming on my stream asking stuff like how many scvs I send with my allins (my average game length is like 25 minutes now?). Really tasteless stuff. In retrospect as soon as he bad mannered me on my own stream I should've told the leaders I'm not interested. So I gained some perspective there.
I might be a jerk at times, but definitely didn't deserve to have my time wasted like that. Extremely unprofessional imo, out of all the teams definitely the least.
Also while I was "in progress" of joining elevengaming that one terran guy who sends scvs- guess hes not on the roster anymore, forget his name because he disappeared recently even said "your not getting in nerd" or something like that. The only player who gave me the time of day was Slurgi and then the leaders told him not to talk to me at all.
So this new leaf is totally unrelated to that. It is about changing me being a jerk to people who did nothing to me.
Whens the last time I was in elevengaming -that was months ago, yet you bring it up every time I make a post even on unrelated stuff.
If your on the high horse, how come you keep kicking gravel. Let it go.

I've gotten several lessons from this individual and really hope to see his stream posted back up on TL. It was the only stream I watched on a daily basis and was entertaining as well as educational and took me from Silver league all the way to Plat.

Funny the things you would see on this forum late at night when you're bored. While I'm no one in this community, I can speak from a bit of experience. I used to watch Jedi's stream way back in season 1. I was a little apprehensive to get lessons from him. Even though he was a good player, he raged hardcore. But whatever, I got a couple of lessons from him. They were generally really good experiences aside from one thing that happened. My best friend volunteered to zvt against Jedi so that I could watch third person specifics to a build. My buddy played pretty standard and Jedi started to rage as if my buddy was stream cheating (which he would never do). Kinda off putting, but whatever.
He helped me get from diamond to masters in season 1 which I was pretty happy about. Then one day as a fan of him and his stream I watched him play a custom and saw some really cool blink micro that I was impressed with. I then proceeded to compliment him on it and then I got raged on. Not just a little bit of rage but extremely insulting childish rage. As I proceeded to apologize if I had been misinterpreted I then got more belligerent snide prick comments that turned me off so badly I never watched his stream or paid for lessons again. I really liked the dude up until that point.
Hope actually changes and others have better experiences with him than I did. In the end, he's still a good player. Just not a very nice dude.

Apparently he hasn't changed at all. A recent post on sc2armory.com (Aug. 26th) with him BMing another coach. The language used in game is awful, about the same as was used on Destiny tonight.

Seek professional psychological assistance mr. jedi. You seem to at least have the intelligence to know you're not doing very well, personality wise, in stark contrast to a lot of other trolls and assholes in the community. Wishing death upon your opponents children is so far beyond normal "raging" and way over the limit of what is acceptable. So just do it, it's no shame getting help!

Sir, all the best to you in attempting to change your ways. One of the hardest things in the world can be to examine yourself and admit there are flaws in your (personality's) makeup. I admire you greatly for this, and wish you all the best in the future.
It seems though, that you have regressed since your original post. I, and many others on this site I'm sure, understand how difficult it can be to control one's temper. All I can ask, is keep trying. Often when you rage at something irrationally (which raging at strangers over the internet often is an example of), it can be a result of something else going wrong in your life. That's all the help I can offer, as I'm not much of a psychologist/counsellor/therapist, so again, all the best to you, and I hope to see you on the other side of dealing with your issues ^^v.

CombatEX is only BM in game and skype, if you've watched his youtube channel or actually chatted with him you'd know he's not mentally sick, he just enjoys BMing people in game.

I thought he should taste how it feels for someone to wish death upon your loved one- cuz he did it to Deezer (who i don't like). Bandwagon goes crazy- and yes I've definitely had quite a few hiccups but I've been decently manner to a lot of people in situations I would have raged or when players BM me (like Sterling).

I'm sorry, but theres no real excuse for wishing death upon someone's family. "But- but he started it!" is no good reason either. You've done it before too, and it's got out in public.
From the chat logs, it seems he was being perfectly mannered, so going off on him unprovoked because he apparently wished death upon someone some other time (to someone you don't even like) seems invalid.
And even if you somehow do justify being a total ass to someone unprovoked, you're supposed to be "turning a new leaf" and shouldn't do that either.
Also, "what goes around comes around" doesn't quite apply when you attacked him on several different points, AND you wished death upon his family.
If he bragged for no reason, then tap f11 and ignore him, he's being a dick.

Actually, Destiny is probably the one person who would deserve BM from me, he ruined my old stream purely because I beat him a few times and trashtalked back to him. Most people don't need a chat log from 1 game to know what Destiny's 'political' power has done to me overall . I cannot fight vs 7000 Destiny fans and win. People were even saying I "maphacked and streamsniped him" when I was just streaming games for my measley 10-20 viewers.
Can some MOD lock this thread. I recently beat Destiny a couple times again in 1 sided games and the trolls are back again for the third time. He even linked this thread on reddit and his stream so that explains the influx of messages.
Think about this.. please. Destiny is full of double standards. He can laugh at Deezers dying uncle, who is actually dying, I say I hope his child dies and its a TERRIBLE THING. Destiny can DDOS my stream using viewers and spams, but if a guy DDOS'es him "It crosses the line of professionalism and hes taking him to court".
edit: Make money off of what? I'm not on youtube and don't have a stream. I just want to start improving at raging on ladder. I'm actually a nice guy out of ladder, ask anyone I coach :s.
