I can't believe this still is needed but religious and gun control side discussions will be met with harsh penalties from page 52 and onwards.

If this turns out to be true, this is a very very sad time, indeed.

Err, what does he mean by that?

I don't know anything at all about politics in Norway, or their stance on the war on terrorism, but judging from what I know happened in the US, it has a chance of security measures and awareness being heavily bolstered, throughout Norway.

Omg over fucking cartoons the worst part is thats not particularly suprising. Ya know im all over inclusion and acceptance of all. But at some point we have to consider that not everyones point of veiw is equal and ok. I mean this is the 1st time this kinda thing has happened. So you know what fuck them i dont give a fuck how "offensive" these people think comics strips and cartoons are FUCK THEM. You dont get a pass for killing like this cause of you religion over CARTOONS.

The guy is said to be (ethnic) norwegian, + as others have said the bombings seem to be directed at a political party rather than norwegians in general. To me it seems very unlikely that this is islamic terror, afterall most terror in Europe is done by politically disstatisfied Europeans :/

I expect you know nothing about the connection between neo-nazis and radical islamists.

"afterall most terror in Europe is done by politically disstatisfied Europeans "
This is an outrageous lie, if we talk DEADLY terror then it's like 99,9% islamists. You can't compare apples and oranges. This statement was thoroughly debunked by Magnus Ranstorp.

Please don't speculate about this tragedy when you don't know anything.

Did you know Colombia has had terrorism for over 50 years and it has never been due to someone who is Islam or Muslim or from a radical sect of any religion? BTW, it is deadly terror....

1. I relayed FACTS from official Swedish government sources about deadly terrorism in Europe. Should I not trust them?
2. What the Colombia's lamentable problems have to do with Europe?
3. When was I racist? This is absurd, you are flinging dirt at me.

It is different. Norway has no grievances against other countries, well not that I know of. It would seem strange to attack a peaceful country.

Peaceful? We're involved in both Lybia and Afghanistan.

If Gaddafi is responsible he must have hired someone, radical groups don't really share his agenda anymore. But I bet he would have already gone public by now.

i don't think it has been gaddafi, it looks like a political thing. but if it would be gaddafi we in switzerland have to pay fucking attention. gaddafi certainly is capable of terrorism, he has proven that

It's not if they're being victims from terror, but a matter of when. That's what they all say in here.

And we've caught and avoided the first 5 terror-attempts in Denmark. It'll happen here, it happened in Sweden and now in Norway whether it's connected or not.

I don't get it. Isn't there a single armed cop on the island?

When i went to Oslo the street cops werent armed i actually walked up and asked one and he said they keep there side arms locked in their patrol cars. I remember thinking at the time thats a really useless place to have your gun but just chalked it up to me being american and used to everyone being armed.

If Norway is anything like Sweden people wouldn't be very happy if there was any weapon on an island strictly used for a children's summer camp. Prior to this incident at least.

Weird how are you gonna guard anything without a gun? What are they suppose to yell please stop? I know they arent a big fan of guns over there. But shouldnt the cops and gaurds have weapons im mean just in case something like this happen?

It's just a different approach to keeping the citizen safe. If you don't use guns(much), you don't force criminals to be armed to 'protect themselves'. Personally I like it more. The police can still use guns, but in day to day life, there are less shootings.

"The rumor from Utøya now is that the shooter has said that there will be two more attacks tonight"

No source, see: just a rumor.

I seriously hope this doesn't happen. Sad day for Norwegians..

You're totally right, killing off politicians is A-ok! They're not real people, nor do they have families and anyone who care about them, what waste of air they are, useless I tell you!

But the civillians on the other hand, they're something completly diffrent!

Admin,
He is clearly trolling :/

I was pointing out Colombia just to let you know as a reference that you can't be so racist as to blame the attack on Islams or Muslims or anyone affiliated with any religion. Why? Because there is no religion which encourages killing.

Cops yes, there should have been a (real) one with a gun. But who the hell thinks its a good idea to give a security guard a gun? those guys are usually roid-raging police academy dropouts who don't think things through/have behavioral disorders that don't let them be real police, so why should they get guns? Seriously a bad idea.

Edi: Oh nvm you are american, makes sense now.

Seriously a bad idea? I bet the poor people dead on the island wish some body had the horrible idea of having armed gaurds.

Well, it's always bad when innocent civilians die.

But i hope this won't lead to another 9/11 terrorist hysteria.

We need to wait and see if this is politically related or this is some paid terrorist attack or some radical faction attack for religions motives. I'm guessing most chances are some paid terrorist attack with funding from Gaddafi, in who's case norway took a bad decision.
